Hi Beanie, after this month's big payment it's at £1,529 but interest gets added on. Minimum payment is just over £50 but I'm paying £120 every month and then some extra where I can.
Really I could pay more but it would be at the expense of other things that I want to do at church and behind the scenes. I know charity begins at home and especially if interest is involved :rotfl: but it's just the way I am. It'll get to £0 eventually and I've not used it for nearly 2 years now so can definitely live without it when it is cleared.
We only get appts for the subjects DS wants to take for GCSE's and he's managed to get them all within half an hour of each other so I don't think we'll be there too long. Just hoping we don't have to run from one to the next as the school is huge and there are lots of different buildings teachers use  The worst one was with DD. We had to walk up 3 flights of stairs, back down to the ground floor, then back upstairs again! xx1 -
I used to hate parents evening too at secondary school, you feel like you have to go or it looks bad, but you often come away wondering what you actually learnt from it!
As long as you know the cc is being paid off then your current arrangement seems good. It allows you to have savings pots for treats which makes the debt free journey more enjoyable.

Back from parent's evening. Glowing reports all round.
Thanks HHD, you're right. As long as it's going down and I'm still able to put some money to one side for 'my things' and some to one side for 'other people' I'm more than happy. xx

Morning Everybody
Day 8/31, NSD's 3/15, Prolific £3.90 cleared, £3.40 pending, Cash for 8th-14th March £31.75
Got my spends of £26.75 today and I also had £9.40 left from last week. I've kept £5 in my purse and split the remainder, £2 to charity and £2.40 to CC bonus payments . The theatre ticket pot has gone and the money in there has been added to the caravan fund. We don't really spend much when we're there for the weekend so I'm going to try and keep hold of this until the Easter/Summer hols and if we want to do something specific I'll use it for that.
So, March, Week 2 and pots are looking like this:
Savings £72.50
DS Savings £30
Christmas £35
Caravan £43.50
Dogs £75!
Hairdressers £10
Christmas Charity £6
Credit Card extra payment £40
CC Bonus Money £2.40
Hope everybody has a lovely Friday and a good weekend. xx1 -

Day 8/31, NSD's 4/15, Prolific £0, £1.40 pending, Cash for 8th-14th March £31.75
Ending the week with a NSD and a Prolific cash out of £5.90. I'm only 100 points off my first Shoppix cash out as well.
Just a bit of useless information but I've been doing Receipt Hog since 29th December and still have 600 coins to collect before I can cash out £5. I could get a £3 Amazon voucher for 1000 points but I don't buy anything off there so I'll hold out.
Compare that to Shoppix which I started on 22nd January. I will definitely be able to cash out £5 in the next 2 or 3 days so Shoppix is definitely quicker but it's all free money so I'll carry on doing RH. xx1 -

K - I'm surprised how quickly it's become a habit for me posting on here. I suppose talking about money all the time would be very boring especially if we're all here because we've not got much of it :rotfl:
Day 9/31, NSD's 4/15, Prolific £4.70 cleared, £0 pending, Cash for 8th-14th March £31.75
Think today will be another NSD. We'd planned to go to the van this weekend but a combination of bad weather forecast, having to take the dogs and no awning up yet made me change my mind.
I did a Prolific survey on Weds that was worth £2. In part of it you had to toss a coin 4 times and say how many times it landed on tails. Every 'win' was worth £1. I got 3 so put that down but I thought it was just a virtual win so I was completely gobsmacked to log on to PA this morning and see that £3 for the coin toss has just come through. :T
I've got the door open for a bit of fresh air and the wind is howling. Love the sound of wind. Hope you all have a good day.
