No the Tussell Trust rules really cheese me off.
Certainly in the county I live in I have heard some not nice stories about them being so flipping inflexible. Bah, bah, bah xx

    Day 26/28, 17 NSD's, Prolific £1.40 cleared, £17 cash £22nd-28th February

Another NSD, even though I did go shopping it was all food and household bits I bought. Having a little think ahead about March, I'm going to change what I do with my money for the month but just need to think it through a bit more - less pot savings, more CC payment will be the general gist.

DD has had to come home from Uni to go to the dentist. She's been up all night with her wisdom tooth. A course of antibiotics, paracetamol and salt water rinses have been prescribed. If it happens again she'll have to have it removed. :(

Hope you've all had a good day, the weather is gorgeous here again. :) xx

I know Beanie :( She's flat out on the sofa next to me. She hardly slept at all bless her. She'll stay here overnight and then we'll take her back to Uni tomorrow in time for her mid morning lecture.

The weather is fantastic isn't it. I just hope this isn't it for the year  xx
  • Hope DD is feeling better x

Can't believe how lovely the weather is, this time last year it was snowing.

Thanks NMC. She had another really rough night and so did I as she kept waking me up to tell me she couldn't sleep :o She's still home and I think she'll stay for the week now. Probably for the best as she's in quite a bit of pain.

    Day 27/28, 18 NSD's, Prolific £1.40 cleared, £17 cash £22nd-28th February

It's been a very tooth orientated day today :D If DD is feeling any better tomorrow I might take her out for coffee while she's home just for a change of scene and to distract her a bit. Even if I do that I'll have some money left over to carry forward next month. March is going to be credit card bashing month. I've decided what I'm doing and although it will be a one off I'm looking forward to clearing extra money off it.

Hope you've all had a great day. Sat here watching the vote in Parliament - again  xx

Can't wait to start Beanie - I know a lot of people measure their debt by moving down in the £1,000's but I'm going for the £100's and fingers crossed I'll move down 2 lots by the end of March xx

I'm doing this a day early, but I'm not around much for the next few days and DD is still home and also using the laptop. It's a bit long winded but I don't want to forget what my plans are.

    Day 1/31, NSD's 0/15, Prolific £1.40 cleared, £2.50 pending, Cash for 1st-7th March £27.50

    Monthly cash is £240 + £17 in purse = £257 but I'm starting March with £237 as I've committed £20 to something.

Doing things a little different this month. To start with I'm planning on only doing a couple of round ups a week on here. After 3 months of watching my money on a daily basis, there's a fair few days where nothing changes so I think every few days should work fine.

Also because I've been able to add extra to the pots from left over weekly spends they've got more in them than I anticipated which I'm really pleased about. So this month I've decided to cut back on the pots and pay more off the credit card.

The only ones I'm adding money to are DS Savings, Hairdressers, Dogs & CC extra payment which is a total of £85. These pots are 'fixed prices' and I don't want to fall behind on them. This will leave £45 extra for the CC which means in total I'll be paying off £178.50 this month (£80 standard payment, £40 CC pot money, £45 extra from this months pots + £13.50 from February's bonus payment savings)

So I have: £237, less £85 pot allocation, less £45 pot difference to CC = £107 divided by 4 weeks = £26.75 per week spends. Any money left over from my weekly spends will boost the remaining pots as I go along.

Pots are now looking like this:
    Savings £72.50
    DS Savings £30
    Christmas £35
    Caravan £19
    Dogs £75
    Hairdressers £30
    Christmas Charity £2
    Theatre Tickets £22.50
    Credit Card £40 extra payment
    CC Bonus Money £0

Also adding on a few bits of useless information :rotfl:

    CC: 1st Jan £1,887 : 1st Feb £1,782 : 1st March, £1,699
Receipt Hog: 834 coins, Shoppix: 2,745 coins
Other financial news is for the sake of a 10 minute phone call we've saved £120 on car insurance :T

Hope you all have a good Friday and fantastic weekend. xx
