Morning
Day 8/31, 5 NSD's, Prolific £16.81 cleared, £4.30 pending, Cash £44.53
Off out today for coffee with my friend. Apart from looking for a couple of tops I can't think of anything else I need or want to buy. Doubt I'll even get the tops but hope I do find something as I could really do with them. Think after today I'll be back to NSD's for the rest of the week.
Checked my CC total and it now stands at £1,767 although interest needs to be added. I'm hoping to pay a bit more off next week from anything I've got left over.
When the £4.30 from Prolific clears I'll withdraw the cash and split it between Christmas, caravan and savings.
Hope you all have a good day.0 -
Morning tea, your nsds are putting us to shame! My hubby ruined today as needs fuel grrrr!
I find when I have the money and want to buy something I can never find anything I really like. I did look before Xmas but still wanting to lose weight and being between sizes was great for my wallet. It's made easier by the fact I'm not at work....no pressure to look good at home in pjs.
Enjoy your coffee. I'm hoping the surveys pick up soon not had anything from PA in days xxxFinally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -
Have a lovely day hope you find what you're looking for and have a good catch up with your friend

Choccygirl - If I hadn't changed my habits I wouldn't be claiming any NSD's. There's usually something I need food wise/DC but of course I've stopped using my money for that sort of thing
I hate clothes shopping and I'm always trying to lose a bit of weight so tell myself I'll hold off until I do. Of course it never happens, not to any great degree anyway! This is another area of my life I need to get to grips with. I just need to buy clothes and in the highly unlikely event I lose any weight I'll buy some more. PA is very slow lately but I had 2 good ones yesterday so can't complain. x
Wannabe - Had a lovely coffee and catch up thanks. Didn't find any tops but didn't really put that much effort in. It's something I'm probably best doing on my own.x
Spends today were £6.37 on coffees, £3.50 in Wilko, 30p in The Works - spent £1 but had 70p on my loyalty card = £10.17 which leaves me with £34.36. I need to post something tomorrow but apart from that I can't see any spending taking place now for the next couple of days. We've nothing planned for the weekend either so I'll probably have something left over to pay off the CC next week.
Hope everybody has had a nice day. x0 -

I'm the same tea, hate shopping due to muffin top! Want to lose weight but too much of a greedy foodie who lacks motivation. I've lost 8lbs and people commenting which is giving me kick up the bum!
I'm going to really try and get some weight off before Easter, which should let my spending money build up too. My best friend is an amazing shopper, so have asked her to help me sort my wardrobe and find my inner goddess. Fed up feeling fat and grumpy!
Have a great nsd day xFinally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -

Day 9/31, 5 NSD's, Prolific £17.21 cleared, £3.90 pending, Cash £34.36.
Popped into town today and picked up lots of flowers for the funeral. They're lovely and I just hope I do them justiceTotal cost was £48. From this I'll get a bouquet from hubby and me, 2 single rose bouquets from the DCs and 3 more bouquets for different family members. I've not skimped either. There's loads. Considering we'd have been paying around this amount for a simple, single bouquet to be made up professionally, I'm really pleased with this. Relatives have given me money for theirs so our cost was £25.
I also found a top while I was out. It's pale pink and so soft I can't wait to get it washed and dried so I can wear it.
Need to do a bit of tidying around today then it'll be flower arranging for me tonight. Have a great day everybody.0 -
Glad you found the flowers and that's a good price too! I'm sure you'll do a wonderful job.
Good you found a top too

Thanks Wannabe - you too. Sounds like you've got a lot of balls rolling at the moment - I think balls rolling are definitely better than balls in the air

Choccygirl - I've been waiting to lose weight and buy new clothes for over 5 years  That's not totally true I have bought things but my thinking was to have a really good shopping trip when I was at my ideal weight. Think it's about time I accepted I'm probably at it :rotfl: I don't want to lose loads - about 10lbs but can I shift it, can I heck. Anyway, I've decided to buy some nice tracky bottom type pants and lounge tops for the house - it's where I spend most of my time so that means I only need a couple of outfits for when I go out and even then it's only shopping so leggings and tops will be fine.
8lbs is a lot, you should be really proud of yourself, especially as you've got mobility problems at the moment. When you've finished with your inner goddess send her over to me will you.0
