Evening

We had our Mr T shopping delivered today. Usually anything with a short date is listed but nothing was on the delivery note. When I was unpacking I noticed the bread rolls were out of date today, the bread had just a couple of days on it and the meat 3 days. It doesn't really matter as it all goes in the freezer but I'd have definitely chosen longer dates if I'd been shopping. Anyway, I dropped them an e-mail asking if they could have a word with the store pickers to choose better dates in future. I just got a phone call from them and they were very apologetic and will be refunding the cost which I think is about £14. I've never had a problem before so hopefully it's just a one off.
I've spent some charity money today on something I promised to do for a lovely lady who gives up her time every week to help people. I need to figure out exactly how much as it's all got muddled in with some things DD bought. Depending on how much she spent, no doubt I'll tell her not to bother paying me back.
We've a tough day ahead of us tomorrow as we'll be saying goodbye to our furry friend. Absolutely dreading it to be honest but it's definitely going to be the best thing to do for him and really that's all that matters
. xx
