Thanks NMC and HHD :) I wasn't worried about the cards from a money point of view but I was worried about the information they can get from them and what they can do with it - if anything. Then I had to ring and sort them out, hanging around on the line, then having to change passwords etc. The biggest worry was PP but touch wood all seems OK.

DD has just text to say her Uni has made the decision to close, but for now 3rd year students still have to attend. She says nobody has tested positive that she knows of so I'm guessing it's a precaution and they're carrying on with 3rd years because of exams. She has to continue her studies on line. A taste of what's to come for others I suppose. xx

And you too Beanie :)  I'm sat here pondering what the difference is between mass gatherings being banned vs. 1000 + pupils still being crammed into halls and classrooms. I'm not desperate for school to close it just intrigues me. Having said that nobody has fallen ill at DS's school which intrigues me even more considering there's been a trip to Italy and children are usually very kind when it comes to sharing their germs. :D

Children tend to have a milder form of this particular virus and recover more quickly because of the different way their immume systems work.

Good for them - and I mean that in all seriousness. I wouldn't wish it on anybody but if the majority of children are 'only' susceptible to a milder form and recover quicker then maybe they'll help with the 'herd' immunity we seem to need.

Had to pop to Mr T's for a tub of natural yoghurt - the one delivered was cracked and leaking and I need it for my curry tonight. It's a local store that's not overly big and usually there's hardly anybody in it. Today we had to queue. I noticed the signs on pasta etc are now saying 2 each rather than 5 that were up last week but there was none to be had anyway.  The lady in front was only allowed 2 bottles of water not 3 which she happily accepted. We seem to be catching up with everybody else now. Quite a few shelves empty and low stocks on other basics. And there endeth the news bulletin from TF2 for today  :D xx
