It will be a real worry for people won't it, although I've just read NatWest and RBS are going to defer payments for people affected who are struggling. xx

Morning HHD, I hope you and your family don't catch the virus, but from a financial point of view I bet other banks and BS's will follow suit. Not sure if you'll need to have been officially diagnosed though. It's all a bit up in the air at the moment that's for sure. xx

    Afternoon :)

    Day 11/31, Spends £31.49, Prolific £5.66 cleared £3.55 pending, Shoppix 1130/3200, RH 1025/1500

Took the dog to the vets today which cost £35. It was decided there won’t be any on-going treatment, it’s just a case of keeping an eye on him now and making sure he’s happy in himself. The money came out of the household budget but I'd like to try and drip feed it back over the next few weeks although it's not overly important to do that.

Surveys have been very slow this month but I had a good one through yesterday which was a nice boost to the funds.

Mr T delivered as usual today. Everything I ordered arrived including loo roll and hand soap, although my normal Mr T coconut shea was substituted for Mr T Luxury - but I think my bottom will cope with that  :D I will admit to thinking ahead and I've booked the next 2 delivery slots already. As long as you put one thing in the basket it saves it for you.

Think that's about it for today. Hope it's been a good one for you all. xx

Glad the dog is ok, Tea!! And nice that you have money put aside to deal with vets and grooming bills.

I've more or less given up on surveys. I wasn't getting enough to make it worth my while and when I'm already juggling 100 things, i was struggling to find the time. Do you still use PA?

Morning HG :) Dog is OK for now but he's not having any treatment because the vet recommended we just let him get on with it until his time comes :( BUT that could be months or even years so I'm not worrying about it.

Yes, PA is the only one I do. Sometimes they pop up one after the other but you have to be on the laptop to see them so it's just luck really. It's a bit of fun for me with an added bonus of cash but I totally understand the time spent/payment received vs. the value of your time in general wouldn't make it worth it. Sometimes it's better to just make the decision to let things go isn't it. Better for the stress levels all round  :D

Hope you're all keeping well. Have a great day. xx

    Hi Everybody :)

Day 12/31, Prolific £8.36 cleared, £1.05 outstanding, Spends £30.41 (completely wrong figure on last update  :p )

Hubby needed to go to the garage today and offered to drop me at Ikea for an hour. I did toy with the idea of having a look around but decided to stay in and clean the bathroom instead. Boring!!! :D Half the reason was I didn't need to buy anything, the other half being 'the virus'.

So far this week I've only spent £1.59. There's a definite spend of £5 happening at the weekend but apart from that I don't think there's anything else I'm doing that requires money. Anything left over this month will be split between savings, Christmas meal, tickets and birthdays. I've also committed myself to donating £10 a month so will need to set up a pot for that in April although it's going to be accounted for from my left over spends.

Hope you're all staying well. xx

  • Hi Tea x
Glad your dog is ok and well done on the spend this week and that is impressive.   I have no patience with the surveys and gave up on them but do enjoy snapping my receipts on zip zero, you don't earn as much but I have sent £10 to my council tax bill this month so every little helps !
