    Afternoon :)

    Weekly Spends £25, Prolific 44p cleared, £2.77 outstanding, Shoppix 385/3200, RH 740/1500, Paypal £13.75

Yesterday didn't turn out as planned and I could only meet my friends for a couple of drinks which they very kindly paid for. So the £30 I'd put to one side will be split £10 Savings, £5 each to Christmas and Christmas Splurge and £10 tickets.  I've moved £40 from PP for the experience and £20 for tickets. £10 has been spend but I know what on, so all is good :)

It's taking me a while to get into the swing of this again so a little update before the new month starts so I know where I'm at:

    Savings £10
    DS Savings £20
    Dogs £50
    Hairdressers £5
Charity £0 - had a little spend this morning and cleared the pot
    Christmas £25
    Christmas Splurge £30
    Tickets £40/£115

    Birthdays £7.78
    Uniform £36.01
Household/Cars £132.90 - soon to be nearly back to £0 :( but at least we don't have to find the money :)

Think that's all for now. Not liking this new set up very much on here. Typed something, then went back a page to check a figure and lost everything I typed. Very annoying!

    Afternoon 😊

Thought I'd do a last day of the month round up. Managed to keep track of my spending last week and feel better for it. I spent £13.50 which means there’s £21.50 left to split between Savings, the 2 Christmas pots and Birthdays. It would have been less but instead of paying £9.50 for 2 drinks and 2 toasted teacakes at the garden centre we decided to buy a packet of teacakes and make our own at home.  o:)

I'll be starting March with the pots looking like this:

    Savings £20

    DS Savings £20

    Dogs £50

    Hair £5

    Christmas £30

    Christmas Meal £35

    Charity £1.50

    Tickets £45/£115

    Uniform £38.01

    Birthdays £25

    Household £135

The project for March is to build up the birthday pot. The other pots will have bits added but probably not very much.

There’s nothing out of the ordinary planned for March, even Mother’s Day will be fairly understated. Neither me or my Mum buy into the commercialism of such events. She often tells me not to get her anything, I tell my DC’s not to spend too much. I’d happily tell them not to bother at all but you can take the enjoyment out of it for other people, so I don’t go that far!

Tomorrow is 'pay day' and after putting my usual amounts in the pots I'll have £32 weekly spends. xx

Hi NMC :) We're having a quiet but nice weekend thank you. Feeling very virtuous as we chose not to spend £10 in the garden centre on coffee and teacakes and came home and made our own instead. Much nicer too even if I do say so :) Sorry to hear about your dog and your arm :( xx

    Morning :)
Day 1/31, Prolific £1.54 cleared, £3.95 pending, Weekly spends £32.00

Are we really in March already! Hopefully there will be less rain and more signs of spring in the next few weeks.

'Pay day' today and so far my weekly spends shopping list has a lipstick on it, at the grand cost of £2.50. Need to update the charity list and decide what to buy this month.

I've tidied up the bank account to a nice round figure and put the majority of it in the birthday pot and the odds into the uniform pot. DS will need summer tops after Easter and although they're not a major expense it's good to know the money is already there for them. Same with the dogs who are being groomed this week. Putting £25 a month away is much better than having to pay it all in one go.

Hope you all have a good day. x

I buy it from Wilko Beanie, but it's the Collection range and they have it in other stores. It's the Velvet Kiss Moisturising Lip Cream and it's the only one that doesn't make my lips dry. Absolutely love it. I've tried other brands and more expensive ones but this is the best for me. xx

    Afternoon Everybody :)

    Day 3/31, Prolific £2.54 cleared £3.97 pending, Spends £29.50

Just completed a survey which was absolutely nothing to do with the description. It became very mathematical so it'll be interesting to see if I get paid for it given what I suspect are shockingly poor answers lol. So far the only spend out of my money is the lipstick.

I've drawn the monthly money out and added it to the pots:
    Savings: £45
    DS Savings: £30
    Dogs: £75
    Hair: £15
    Charity: £3.50
    Christmas: £40
    Christmas Meal: £35
    Tickets: £47.50/£115
    Birthdays :£27
    Uniform: £39.40
Household/Cars: £137 - thought this would have gone by now but we're holding on to it and building it up. It's spoken for, because there's always something to be paid for under this heading, just nothing springs to mind at the moment :)

No other spending I can see this week from my money and I can't decide whether that's a big tick from an MSE point of view or a big cross from a boring point of view  :D xx
