Sorry to be a pedant, but it's not an insurance policy, they sell you a service plan to avoid giving you the protections and access to the Ombudsman an actual insurance policy provides0 -

We were just trying to adivse you why it would be a waste of your time.
But if you want to go strictly to that then write them a letter why you think accidentally breaking it that often is reasonable ans should be covered under the terms that you signed up to.
And maybe if you are lucky they will do it one last time and then cancel the contract. If you are annoying enough to them they might decide it is cheaper to do it one last time rather than keep on dealing with you.
Not that a reasonable person would do it as that is why things cost more for the average person that they could.0 -

And if you crunched your car several times a year don't you think your insurer would say enough is enough and either refuse to cover you or hike your premiums significantly? Currys now feel the same way because having insurance doesn't mean that you're not supposed to take reasonable care, which you clearly don't.0 -

After going down two flights of stairs is it even repairable? They probably think you're looking for a nice free replacement on a five year old tablet.0 -

Car insurance would still pay out. And if they are making a judgement because of past repairs then they should of put my insurance up or canceled it from the last repair0 -

A lot of car insurance (especially the cheap cheap ones) would termintae on a payout (and ask for the rest of the year if you were paying monthly). The rest is just good will, and even for those try a total write of twice in a year and see what happens.
Price generally also goes up on renewal.
And HOW MANY TIMES? You have not bought insurance.0 -

The way they will see it (and me ) is that because you have this insurance you don't need to really take care of the tablet because if you drop it they will fix it. This is obvious from 6 drops and is neglect.
It could also ne argued that by letting your kids use and abuse it as they have, you haven't taken care of it which you haven't.0 -
I paid over the odds for an iPad 1 in October 2010. It still works, though I never did consider insurance!0

It didn't the first few times. Currys have obviously decided, unsurprisingly, that you don't take sufficient care of your property. That said, they should then have cancelled the teamknowhow product. You might find them willing to return your recent payments as somebody else has suggested.
In future, you either need to take more care of products, or buy cheaper items you can easily replace.
We'd not be helping you if we gave you the wrong answer, just because it's what you want to hear.0
