curry insurance

I have to make a complaint to currys teamknowhow for not repairing my iPad. I pay £7.50 a month for accidental damage and I have been paying it since 2014. It has been repaired around 5 other times since 2014 And it seems that others are having the same problem when they have had it repairs in the past and they just decides enough is enough it will be class has neglected and they refuse to repair. I also have a recorder call with a manager that pretty much suggest that was the case. Which fundamentally I would have thought is wrong. I live in flats and I have a big pocket in my jacket that I missed when putting my iPad into it and it hit the top of the stairs floor and went down the steps to the bottom floor. 2 floors and steps

Please if anyone can help me with the letter to send to them :mad::mad::mad:

    Assuming this isn't a wind up (I was rather hoping it would be a spicy food related thread) then your description of what happened sounds very much like neglect to me.

    As part of their T&Cs
    Section B - What is not included?

    Repair or replacement of the Product which has been neglected, abused, misused, or damaged intentionally. You must take reasonable care of the Product.
    Seems straightforward to me. You clearly haven't taken reasonable care of your Ipad.

    What were the nature of the other 5 repairs?

    Unfortunatly, yes it is neglect to chuck things on the floor even if you did not indend to. Be more careful.

    Also you will find it is not insurance. More a warrenty so what they say goes.

    Case closed then. I suggest you try your house insurance in that case.

    So you think dropping it half a dozen times is taking reasonable care :rotfl:

    You haven't a leg to stand on, move on.

    So you accidentally drop it and that means neglect.

    It hasn't been in disrepair, dilapidation, deterioration, shabbiness, disuse, abandonment;

    Ok, now assuming it covers accidental damage (or none of the situations you state should pay out).

    Yes, doing it that many times is neglectful.

    Best outcome is they refund you and payments for the cover since the last claim. (since they probably should have terminated it at that point (or at least told you accidental damge limit was reached)).

    That's !!!!!!!!, I pay for the accidental repair and it doesn't matter how many times you can claim. That cant repairs it the other times and then make a judgement that this time i neglected it. , If I left it to be in disrepair, dilapidation, deterioration, shabbiness, disuse, abandonment; then fine, But I didn't
