Thanks Nelski and Greenglockenspiel but I'm sure it hasn't gone through the delivered orders are showing but my trolley is still open also no email so I think it's reorder. I'll let you all know if I get oveloaded with goods

Can anyone help? I wear glasses and when I've worn a face mask all that happens is that my glasses steam up and I cant see a thing.  Any suggestions, apart from stopping breathing!

Just letting all of you know I reordered and yes I hadn't completed the process probably panicky not used to it so it's ok no double delivery

edit to say soy sauce and white rice of certain brands were available yesterday but not today small choice of other brands

Secure fits help best with this. Does your mask have a nose bridge wire?

I'm inserting Plastic Twist with Cutter with passable use. Also, it's cheap so if gets tired, I can swap in another length - I already switch a sheet of blueroll as filter for each trip.

No, do I need a more robust one do you think?

You can add a wire to a cotton mask. I stitched a bit of tape to the top of mine to make a kind of tube  then inserted half a chenille and wire pipe cleaner behind the tape stitching up the ends of the tube afterwards. Fortunately  we had a few pipe cleaners in the drawer where I keep craft supplies for DGS but other wire would probably do. I do wash our masks in a bag just in case the wire comes out.

I made a fabric mask yesterday from a recycled cotton shirt the boys had grown out of. It was a very fine cotton and lighter than the quilting cotton that some people use for masks. I used a pattern that formed a peak over your nose and covered most of your lower face, I think its called a duck bill pattern but don't quote me. The mask was fully lined but I did not bother putting in a slot for a filter. The mask is mainly to stop me from touching my face and breathing on anyone. I recycled the nose wire from disposable masks I had previously worn. I sewed the wire within a pocket of bias binding then attached the pocket between the two layers of fabric. It worked very well and formed a good seal over my nose. The only thing I found I will need to alter is the size of the elastic, it was a tad too big but apart from that worked really well. The only thing with wearing the mask and my sun glasses it looked like I was going to rob the joint not go shopping!

One of the nurses I know shared a tip they have been using at the hospital for the glass wearing staff, a drop of washing up liquid rubbed on to the lens then buffed with a dry cloth till clear. Not tried it myself yet so can not say from personal experience if it really works.

Potential problem with washing up liquid  is some lenses have special coating  which could be wiped off...
