I've got to go shopping tomorrow, so will be going early, finger's crossed I can get a veg box so the frozen veg can stay in the freezer for a while, and an on-line order is in for next week, the furry one's food mainly as she no longer has any teeth or desire to hunt [she use to be a very good mouser], she is 19 now and slowing down but still like's her food.
I've already got compost and seed's, so that should help with the fresh stuff.
Now I just need to figure out a way of earning some pennies if we have to isolate, the joy's of being self employed.

For when I'm desperate for something fresh, I was thinking I might go to the occasional farmers market - and stand upwind of anyone queuing
Not quite social isolation but better than shopping indoors. Frankly I'm more worried about breathing something in than picking something up on my hands - which is more easily controlled.

nannywindow - we are doing the same - wonder how long we'll be hermits for??
Had Tesco delivery today - said I never wanted the driver inside kitchen from now on - they packed the order in bags and left on doorstep, and no need to sign - super service - easier than a normal delivery.

Sunday is one of the local market's which is not big, has a decent veg man and some time's we get a good butcher as well, but that is wind dependent with his awning.£71.93/ £180.008

Planted my microgreen crops today, made a mess in the kitchen making a new batch of soil mix, but it was a good feeling to get the seeds soaked and started. Have got fenugreek, radish and kale. Last time I grew microgreens was very successful and they make a nice addition to salads or in sandwiches, a great way to get extra fresh nutrients when we might find ourselves short of fresh food.I went to book an Ocado delivery this morning but could only get a slot a week from today! Normally you can get a slot two days ahead. They must be incredibly busy. So if you get deliveries book well ahead.9

I got a Sainsburys delivery just one day ahead. But I'm reminded why I stopped online. Not very happy with short dates on some of the fresh stuff. Yes you can refuse it but then you are without the items you needed and have to try and get them elsewhere.

I really wonder how many people think this is not going to happen and done nothing by way of stores or planning, it's frankly terrifying!I would at least like to hope its people 'At risk' who need it, They probably presume they would have a big stock of it on site and can easily get re-filled, And i hope that's true, But who knows!7
