instead have spent most of the morning cleaning and scrubbing mould off the bathroom tiles with a toothbrush....
For next time, bicarb mixed with bleach into a paste, slap on in the morning once the bathroom is free, go have a cup of tea or whatever, as long as it takes longer than 20 minutes I used to put it on in the morning, and wash off after I got the kids home from school,
Takes all mould/mildew away like magic, even from grout and silicone sealant.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hello everyone
CCL - sending you hugs!! Hope you're ok.
X_Raphel_xx - congrats on the DFD, sorry about the late congrats!
Sorry I didn't check in yesterday had a son and mummy dayso didn't really spend any time online. We had a lovely day, his dad dropped round his "big boy bed" and he was so excited, he slept in it last night so good bless him.
Haven't been looking on my phone as much during the day and have been leaving it in a different room while going to do housework, cooking etc. and only take it if I need it for music. Which is really good for me. I did have a few evenings where I was glued to it and then realized looking at other peoples social media does not make me happy so don't do it!
Have been lighting my candles more and turning the main lights off in living room in the evening, love it! It feels so much warmer and homey
As I've not been on for a while I will do a 8 things I am grateful for
1. My son - he makes me so proud and smile so much, he really keeps me going.
2. My anti-depressants - I have felt a lot better since going back on them, wish I wasn't so stubborn and went on them before.
3. Twinkly xmas lights - making everything feel a bit magical (I'm a huge child)
4. People on a game that I play for helping me keep my mind off things.
5. Being able to wear my xmas jumper at work - keeps me warm
6. Guided meditation on youtube - has helped when I've not been able to sleep.
7. To have somewhere nice to live.
8. For getting on better with sons dad, and he come and set up sons "big boy bed" he got as early xmas present for him.
9. My son sleeping in his new bed really well.
10. Day out with friend on Tuesday, lots of walking and a good catch up.
11. Cold seems to be on the way out.
For my 1000 days I have re-joined day zero project (actually did a few weeks ago!) and started adding little goals on there. Basically you set a list of 101 things you want to do in 1001 daysand you can add as you go so don't have to do all 101 at the start. I hope this is ok to do for the challenge? Not sure if I can post link in here but my main goals atm are to pay off cc and loose weight (doing 7lb at a time so they are smaller targets) I am also going to write myself a letter or email (thanks X_Raphel_xx for the idea! to open on the last day.

f0xh0les from your final countdown comment I guess you are a woman after my own heart and a fan of the last leg?
Sadly it is a funeral today, hubs wants takeaway for dinner as we're away from home. I can cobble together something from ambient things so I'll be putting my foot down.
I've not reported on this daily but I've definitely been on my phone less as battery is lasting longer. When tempted I gaze into DD's eyes (or if she's asleep, into the wine cupboard...); Both of these things are better. I don't do SM but I am still guilty of mindless browsing and window shopping.

Hello :hello:
Thanks again everyone for the kind words - I really appreciate having a good support network, both here and in real life. I know I can get through this.
Didn't get on last night as I had the police at the house, taking a statement from me. They have spoken to ex and warned him that if he comes to the house again then he will be arrested for stalking. I am quite devastated that things have turned out like this, but it's not due to lack of effort on my part, so my conscience is quite clear. My emotions are all over the place though - but I will get there.
Work is seriously insane at the moment. People that think an 8 week half term running into Christmas is a good idea are wrong. It's hard. So, like f0xh0les I am on the final countdown. 5 more school get ups... The kids are hyper all day every day and we are doing nothing Christmassy at school - first time I've ever really disagreed with the Head since he started. Ah well - this time next week that will all be over for a fortnight.
Today I am grateful for:
The police and their help
All you can eat buffet for my school Christmas night out
My family
Cuddles with the cats. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Today I am grateful for a crisp cold day, for plenty of walking, for getting tasks done when I could instead of postponing them again, for spending time with some great people, for the generosity and kindness of other people, for fairy lights on the tree and round the house, for finding another little gift for my mum, for my sewing, forhaving gluten free mince pies with icing!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Hi all:j
Much better day today although not an NSD as had to go out to post a parcel to my rellies & a card to my brother in Germany. Spent most pf the morning writing a few cards & packaging up the HM gifts. Hit the PO during the golden hour & no queue at all...amazing, also picked up MIL present ordered from Boots. Called in at little Sains on my way back & struck lucky on the YS stuff so was happy with that. DH still on jury service & case will go on to next week (laughs evilly). He told me he had made 20 pages of notes on the case:eek:
No NSD today so still: 7/15 NSDs
Gratitudes today: peace and quiet whilst home alone, sending last parcel/card easily, actually relaxing with a hot drink & feet up, still eating leftovers from party
