Has anybody been to Clearwater beach recently and whats the best thing to do there (except lie on the beach all day! )? Going there in October on day trip for a chill-out day from the parks.0

Stay for sunset lots of entertainment at the pier and stalls selling handmade jewellery and arts and crafts. We have had many nice days out at Clearwater.

About the wifi. In Orlando International Airport we found a wireless network and accessed it on our laptop for free. We found a socket near some chairs and plugged in the laptop. A bit cheeky I know, but it passed the time.0

If you're looking for wifi on a trip to Florida, you may find this source useful. The towns are listed alphabetically, so scroll down for Orlando. Kissimmee is listed separately. Doesn't list everywhere, but handy nevertheless.

Funny it seems cheeky to us Brits, but the Americans don't bat an eyelid & do this themselves
