Thanks for that, to be honest it would have been stretching it to go in Aug, so better to wait until NOV, I have been pricing and some not bad deals for 22 Nov for 2 weeks at the econolodge I drive, is that a good location and will it be christmassy at that time, is there any down sides to going at that time re water parks being open etc, thanks for your help.I think I've stayed at the Champions World Resort, that's if it's the hotel on the 192 near Lindfields that used to be the Howard Johnson Maingate West.
I wouldn't touch it without a car. The location is OK with a car, but without one you are going to be totally stuck for getting to the parks (unless they have a good shuttle service, I don't know about that). Also as importantly there is not a good range of eating places within walking distance. There is a (not very nice) Chinese next door and what looks like a short walk away McDonalds. The McDonalds took a lot longer to walk than it looked, along a dodgy grass verge with cars whizzing by - not recommended
I really think, if you are happy to go in November, you would be unlucky not to get a deal as good as the one you've seen..... it's not the most popular time to go (nowehere near school holidays) and the weather will be more manageable than August.

Hi Guys
we have decided to try and go back to Florida some time next year but on a pretty tight budget this time. We went at xmas last year and as it was 1st time we booked a package through a travel agent so obviously paid a bit more than if we'd done it ourselves. I have read so many times on here of people getting out there for great prices so was hoping yous could all advise me on the cheapest time to travel.
We were thinking maybe may or oct /nov ?
There would be 2 ad + 2 children. I have found a few prices but they don't seem to be that cheep.
All help greatly appreciated x0 -

Hi I have been fishing around for flights trying to see if I can do it myself more cheap versus the middle man, I got £870.90 for 1 adult and 2 kids flying from Gatwick to Orlando Int on 9th Nov for 2 weeks, do you think it's worth snapping up as the availability is low according to Opodo.Thriftkitten
