Yes you can but you can not get to any of the parks from there. Buses go to resorts only.Self confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

We are trying to do things as cheaply as possible to make our money stretch further and $12.00 a day is going to add up to quite a bit. From memory, I seem to remember that when we parked at Disney we had to still get on a bus to get to the main gate as the car was parked miles away.
Hi Judy
You would have to take a bus to a resort sand then change buses to get another bus to a park. For instance, say from DTD you take maybe 30 mins to get to a resort once a bus arrives and then you have to change and wait for another bus that will be another 30 min ride if not more. So with wauting you could be sopending upwards of 2 hours to do it that way. Plus the buses from eh resorts will stop at other stops as well. Honestly, its really not worth it.
I appriciaite you want to save money etc, but parking is not the one to skimp on. For example, why not buy some water from wal mart and freeze it and take that in a back back. five bottle of 500 ml water brought into the park will save you back the car park money.
Also the car park fee is paid only once a day so if you leave and return or leave and go to another park then you do not have to pay again.

Hello,
I know that there is a Florida thread but it is quite extensive now and it's quite hard to find specific info. It's obviously a worthy thread given all the views and posts so I thought it would perhaps be easier if it was broken down into specific sections.
I'm looking for money savers advice on park and any other attraction tickets. Any wee bits of info such as;- What to see?
- Where to buy the tickets (UK or Florida)?
- Any other wee secrets or tips
Thanks :T0 -
As this is our first time to Florida, I can't offer advice on "what to see", but having looked on https://www.thedibb.co.uk, I believe https://www.orlandoattractions.com are highly competitive for tickets. They also provide actual tickets for the majority of places, rather than vouchers that you have to exchange.Everybody dies, but not everyone truly lives0

To be honest, its beyond me why people travelling somewhere (especially for the first time) can't be bothered to spend a couple of hours sifting through a thread that is packed full of info.

I didn't mean to scare people with the parking price, its just an expense that needs to be remembered.
The car park fee I believe is for all disney parks so if you have a park hopper or a 2 week pass to any park then if you get bored you can leave, drive to another park and park for free.
Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong though.0 -
Hi everyone,
We're going to Florida in March 2010 and whilst we are there my little boy will have his 8th birthday. I was just wondering whether anyone had any recommendations for something special I could do for him there to mark the day? I know you can do character dining but I'm not sure best way to organise this. Also, wondered whether there were any alternatives as our little un is only 2 and I'm not sure whether she'll be freaked out or not by giant mice and that may spoil it for him if she cries? Any ideas much appreciated. I know he's going to have a wonderful day anyway just being there but if we can make it even more magical that would be nice.
TIA x0 -

Well, this site is for everyone and not everyone has the time to read through every post. As I said, the Florida post is vast and there are lots of possible topics (as can been seen by reading through it). However, when threads become vast and varied it can become hard to properly assess the ones that prevalent to you i.e. in this case it's attraction tickets. Hopefully other than this post by me, other money savers will post their comments here which are specific and concise so that it can act a quick reference for those who need it.0 -
