Im 40 and my partner 54 we are only a couple and have a great time at disney world,we have been going since '96. theres much more couple orieentated things to do at WDW, dining, tours, romantic places for strolling, ie boardwalk in the evening.youll have a great time as a couple, plus if you stay in a disney owned resort you can get into the parks earlier and stay much later sometimes till 1 in the morning, which you couldnt(and probably shouldnt) do with children.

Yes Orland is definitely suitable for couples.

We went for our honeymoon to Orlando a few more years ago than I care to remember and absolutely loved it as a couple.

Have been back once with the kids in 2001 and are going again in August this year - can't wait to see what has changed.
  • I'd go to Orlando on my own i enjoy it so much.

Me, my partner are taking my partners little sister to disneyland paris in August, we are all really looking forward to it, and now its made me and my partner think about doing the dream holiday (for us) next year which is Orlando/Disney World, my question is, does Florida suit couples? or is it better when your in a group or take kids? we could take my partners little sister again but obviously we would have to pay for her, paying for her to disneyland wasn't so much of a problem because its quite cheap, im not sure if we would be able to afford to pay for her to Florida aswell! After taking a quick look at some of the posts in here everyone seems to have either gone in groups or took kids, it doesn't seem like it would suit just a couple.

thanks in advance for the info.

Me and my OH are going on Friday...cant wait... just the two of us and we are 24 and 26, we want to go just as so we can enjoy the bigger rides now and then when we have kids we can just worry bout them enjoying!:T

Me (44) and my partner (51) love it.
Partner even chose it the place he wanted to celebrate his 50th birthday.
Going back September 2010 for our honeymoon.

Talking about food - How many of you have been to Disney, seen one of these and said "Bloody hell look at the size of that" (or words to that effect)

    ;)

    Not bad!

The turkey legs smell so nice I think it just gets everybody thinking about food!

And the meat sandwiches in Seaworld Terrace are now dry old things hardly edible and with no free beer to wash them down.
And they used to be sooooo good, I think!
