Every year we book the car hire seperatly but this year we have booked with First Choice with the 'free' car hire, I have phoned First Choice and this is booked with Alamo (who we always hire from) I have been told (by First Choice) that there are no extra costs and this includes insurance.... I am still quite sceptical and will wait until I am actually driving away in the car to believe it!Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls

Has anyone tried renting and getting the car delivered to where they are staying instead of collecting it at the airport, and then getting a cab?
There are always long queues at MCO and have always wondered if this was possible.

My mate is doing it this year so he can get a good drink on the plane0 -
Sadly I think Virgin has to take a look at itself and not have such great adverts.
When they started they were great. Big parcels for kids and adults. Service was brilliant plenty of free drinks now they run out of spirits from an hour out!!
On our recent trip (landed home yesterday) they were really good on the way out, not so on the way home but at least it was on time. Much of the problem on the way home was with the clientèle we were near, omg, you would not believe it.Self confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

The best I have found is £150 which by no means covers my £2000 I have shelled out for tickets already.
I did book on credit card so will it be covered by this if I can't go for some reason (e.g. Swine Fever?)
i normally get my insurance from moneysupermarket.com and either with flexicover or columbis both of who are fine and I think cover tickets.

Hi All (especially those of you who have villas)
Not sure if this is allowed so mods delete if not but I want to reconmend an excellent pool company if you need a new one. A proper service from areas as far [FONT="]as Orange Tree and as far as Ridgewood Lakes on hwy 27, and then all the way back along Ronald Reagan Pkwy (which is hwy 54) and back into Kissimmee, going as far as Remington and Kissimmee Bay.
Please check out Kissimmee Pools. https://www.kissimmeepools.com and ask for Bobby. Tell him I sent you so he should look after you.
Every time I have ever asked a question I have had excellent advice and he has never pushed me into anything. Just likes to help people
Cheers
Craig

Have managed to find a policy on Moneysupermarket.com through Insure 2 Go which does include cover for excursions.
There were a lot on moneysupermarket.com which only insured up to £150 for excursions per person so it is advisable to check policy wording.0 -

The parks are expensive for food and drink and so its wise to take something with you if that helps.

Can you take food into all parks or just some? Was thinking we could pack snacks for the day and then fill up with big breakfast before we get to the parks. Is this possible?0 -

Yes, you can do this with no problems.
The parks' official line is that any food brought should be eaten outside, but this is never enforced despite bag searches (they aren't searching for food!)0
