photocopies are good, also remember that most people have a good enough camera now to take a close-up picture of the tickets (and passports and flight tickets and the address of where you're staying ) that would be carried around in your camera, so close to hand and hard to misplace.

Does anyone know if I purchase 14 day ultimate tickets, whether I could keep them to use next year. We plan to go to Disney in 2010 and would use them then, I know we have to use them for 14 consecutive days. It's just that the prices seem ok-ish and I'm sure they'll be more next year.

Those tickets are now dated for the year they are bought and will only be valid until 31/12/09.

Towards the end of the year you should find offers of next year's tickets at this years prices so worth looking out for.

Has anybody stayed in the COMFORT INN LAKE BUENA VISTA??

Mixed reports on Trip Advisor.. Im not sure wether to book or not but for only £170 for the week it's a great price.

Not yet. Im staying there for 3 weeks in 3 weeks time. The advice that I've been given is that most people on tripadvisor are disgruntled americans who are after a deluxe experience in a basic hotel. People only visit the site when they want to complain.

I've stopped at the quality inn plaza on i-drive several times (which is owned by Rosen and looks to be the same hotel) and when you look at the QIP reviews on tripadvisor it gives you a sense of reality. The QIP is great but again its a basic experience. I used my room as a place to sleep and spend all day out.

I'm hoping someone could offer some advice.

My girlfriend, son and I are going to Florida soon and are flying to Orlando airport. We aren't driving whilst over there and as yet haven't got any transfers, we are staying on International drive. I have looked at various ways of getting from the airport and have found that you can hire a shuttle, get a taxi from the airport or get a lynx bus from the airport to near where we are staying on International drive near wet and wild.

My question is, I was wondering if anyone had taken transfers by either of the latter two methods before to International drive and what their thoughts were about taking either of these forms of transport?

    Hope someone can help!!

    has anyone been recently?
Were looking at going to 5 or so theme parks in 2 weeks and was looking at the ultimate ticket but reading on here it seems that gate prices of some parks have been reduced due to the credit crunch. Worth just buying tickets at the gates do you think as the ultimate ticket would cost approx £800 for us (2 adults 2 kids)? Can't see gate prices on the webpages anywhere.

    thanks for any help;)

New here but we stayed at the comfort inn in 07 ,we loved it for being a basic hotel, its not the most luxurious in the world but its a brilliant location ,breakfast is lfree, rooms were what we needed. We would stay there again if there were less of us (2 ad 3 kids!)-we had the family suite and although we had a brilliant stay by the end of 2 weeks i needed a bit of space !!!

Is it Orlando International or Sanford airport? If you look on the website for either airport you'll find a list of private hire cars with prices and if they offer a 1/2 hour shopping stop on the way to your hotel which is useful for picking up groceries. Usually its slightly cheaper to book a return journey.

We have done the Lynx 42 a couple of times now. I think its really good but girlfriend not so keen. They run every 30 minutes and takes about an hour to reach international drive. You need to have exact fare as they don't give change. For the fare (was about $1.75 last year) I think its brilliant and would recommend using.

Well everything is set. Brought tickets from 'Ticketmania' to be picked up on the 192 at 'Billy Bobs' or something.
Has anyone ever used a bus from Kissimmee to Universal? Is there one? Be nice to be able to send the kids [31 & 24!!] to get rid of them for a couple of days.
And any cheap parking at Gatwick?

Don't know about cheap parking, but at Heathrow you can book a hotel and then get free parking for whilst you are away. This is good if you have an early flight and live a bit away. This is what my family did.
