    That caught your attention!:rotfl:

Its true, the good folk over at The Dibb www.thedibb.co.uk

are reporting that over the Easter period some of the Disney parks have had to close there doors due to over capacity!!! Even to the extent of a phase 4 closure (apperantly that means no one gets in - not even annual pass holders or people staying at Disney resorts!) so it seems even paying for tickets doesnt gaurantee you entry.

This is appearantly very rare and only usually happens at Xmas but with Disney offering discounts due to the recession it appears that Disney aren't suffering! The Dibb also reports that this is having a negative effect on the other non Disney parks in the area, which are very quiet due to the Disney discount effect.

They have been doing some good offers though... don't forget that you can get in free to Disney in 2009 if you go on your birthday! http://www.disneyhomesflorida.com/disneyrental/?p=6

I think the Ultimate is a ticket for UK only so buy here as I'm not sure you can get it when there.

Just and update to whether I should cancel my first holiday and book separately - we decided to go for it as it was going to work out cheaper even when losing our original deposit. When I phoned Airtours / Thomas Cook she said we would lose our deposit or could transfer it to another booking so I think we might do that!

Instead of our 21 nights in All Stars we now have 7 in All stars, 15 in Saratoga Springs, 1 in Royal Pacific and 1 in Animal Kingdom Lodge - with 15 nights free Disney dining - all for less than we were originally paying and I thought THAT was a good price!

I made a post back in January about it if you want to have a read but my advice to you is photocopy your park tickets! We lost ours and Disney refused to do anything about it even after speaking to the company who confirmed we had bought they very traumatic and lots of tears.

You'll have a fab time Disney is amazing ive been 5 times and this is my only complaint it truely is magical. Enjoy!

Does anyone know if I purchase 14 day ultimate tickets, whether I could keep them to use next year. We plan to go to Disney in 2010 and would use them then, I know we have to use them for 14 consecutive days. It's just that the prices seem ok-ish and I'm sure they'll be more next year.
