    Just a quick tip.

I go every January, the parks are empty (takes approx a day per park to go on everything), its always been gorgeous at about 27c, never once has it rained. And flying with Virgin is never more than about £320pp. The villa for 2 weeks is never more than £600 and the car (luxury) £300.

I have been in August and it rained daily, was too hot to be bothered to do anything, the parks were heaving and it cost some 200/300% more.

I don't see the reasons to go in August. If you go Jan and have kids the kids only miss the first few days of school.

Here is what i usually do:

days 1 - 3: Disney park 9am then go for lunch and to waterpark afterwards.
    4: Clearwater
5 - 6: Catch up on any parts of parks missed.
    7: Free day
    8: Universal
    9:Universal
    10/11: Miami & Everglades
    12: Disney parks (usually shows)
    13: Clearwater
    14: Shopping & Home

That includes going on absolutely everything in Disney and Universal. If you didn't fancy Miami & Evergaldes then you have 2 free days.

By going in Jan you get so much more for your money and you still get all the Christmas lights and parades.

nb: Ive heard OCT is just as good.

Im going november 6th for 2-weeks. I hope it's as quiet (the parks) as it is in Jan!

First week should be, second week you may or may not pick up visitors to Florida for Thanksgiving as that is normally the 4th Thursday in Nov.

And I'm hoping 5-19 December is going to be quiet as well - get out just before everyone comes down for their Christmas break is the plan and then spend xmas in the Caribbean for some real rest and relaxation after the hectic Orlando trip :D

    Hi All

we are looking to go in May 2010 !!! Can anyone recommend the best place and time to buy the park tickets !!

    Thanks !

The UK Disney tickets, Ultimate and Premium are dated for the year so any bought now will be valid until end of 2009, however sometimes towards the end of the year when the 2010 prices will be available you can buy at 2009 prices for 2010.

  • Hello

I'm planning on going to Florida in September with my girlfriend for 2 weeks. Is September a good time? Been looking a flying on the 11th of September, is that a bad time to fly?

    Thanks

hi we are all booked up 2 fly on sept 11th for 2 weeks, going to stay in fairfield inn on lake buena vista. Has anyone stayed there??

Also reguarding the new visa waiver forms, my husband bless him - in former youth days was alittle naughty. He was involved in a fight and got an abh charge against him. Now hes not in any trouble now, due to having very expensive needy kids but we have filled in the form online and it says everything is ok - just dont want to arrive and they say no and he has to go home if you get what i mean. Does anyone know if you can actually talk to some one and find out prior to actually getting there.

Just got a great deal on a villa for our holiday to Florida in June. 4 bed 2 bathroom villa with private pool and conservation view to sleep 10 of us. Got 20% discount making it only £60 per night - thats works out at only £6 per night each. What a result !!!

have a look at villainorlando.net Click on the late availability offers for all the best deals

We also looked at rentwindsorhills.com - bit more pricey but some villas were offering up to 25% discount

Just going to check how cheap I can get our disney tickets now !!
