remember also - you arrive Saturday (probably) in the afternoon so there's that day gone - so you start your 14 day ticket on Sunday - then you are leaving on the last Saturday - so that'ss 2 days out of your 14. Then as you have already paid and you are tired you decide to miss a day or 2, and the you want to go to Universal/Islands of Adventure/SeaWorld/Busch Gardenc/Cypress Gardens..... Well you get the message, lets say you use 3 more days seeing the other tourist stuff (not counting REAL Florida (Dead River Cruise/Manatees at a State Park/Beaches etc) Now that's 5 days and say 2 for shopping well there you are you'll actually use your 14 day pass on 7 days only.
Not saying that you will do it - but think about what you will actually be doing. It may be cheaper to just buy on a daily basis or buy a 7 day - look into it don't jump in.
I think thats right. Last yeat Disney were doing 14 days for the price of 7 so it really made no difference. For me if you are staying on Disney proeprty then the 14 day all you can eat Disney ticket is a must as you will live and breath and eat and sleep Disney.
If you are off property and tend to do other things other than the mouse then see how many days you want and buy the best ticket for you. Four parks, so in a two week period a 5 or 7 days pass would be sufficent - its all up to your plan.
However, Disney are clever on the pricing and marketing.the more days you buy the cheaper per day its gets. Take a look at this web site on ticket prices. The one day ticket I would never advise buying unless you are every doing just one day as it costs 75 bucks. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdwi/en_GB/tickets/ticketsUKTickets?id=UKTicketsPage#Prices09
As I am in teh UK the Disney website is directing me to the UK prices which is a bummber, take a look at https://www.allears.net for the US prices.
I suppose the point od my post is that you need to plan plan and plan what you do in Florida. More so if you are going ofr 14 days and want to see it all. Some of the good books like the Unoffical guide to walt disney world by len testa have wonderful touring plans that help you plan.Self confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

Hi Orlando has two main airports. The main one is Orlando International Airport also known as MCO or OIA, From here its about 45 misn to the Disney area.
The other aiport is Sanford which is used by the charter airlines and is a little further north and probably an hours drive.
The third choice is Tampa, which is about 1hr 15mins but an easy drive. Also it only has one international flight arriving and the immigration is easy.
So those are the three. Of course you can also fly into Miami but thats four hours drive from orlando!Self confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

Here is the allears.net link on Disney tickets.
Remember you do not have to buy your Disney tickets here in teh UK before you go. You can buy them from Downtown Disney or any park and its quick and easy.
http://allears.net/pl/ticket.htm
The benefit of the US tickets is that you can easlily add the "no experiantion" option to your tickets, or add days etc later if you are going back. You can not do this with the Ultimate UK ticket.
Cheers

Hi. It's cheaper to get the 14 day (plus they make sure the options on the ticket make it more attractive)
I won't be going every day, there are too many other places to go to, but I want the option of going to multiple parks in a day, and being able to go to each park within the 14 days (although as you say, it's more like 12 max)Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0 -

hello, we normally buy our tickets from tickets direct but this year we got from disney.com direct as they were the cheapest for a change, but they are sending a voucher, can we change this at downtown (or at our resort we are staying at an allstars)our do we need to go to park?

Hi Dazzer
yes you cna change it at DownTown Disney. You may well be able to change it alt all stars as well at Guest Services but I know you can do it at DTD.
Disney are using IP masking to stop us going to the US site. Seems odd really, cant see the point. You can fake your IP address to get to it but thats a lot of hassle.

Hi everyone this is my first post, so please be kind. . We are going to Florida in April for 3 weeks(2 Adult, 1 12 yd old Son) with VA staying at Wyndham Orlando! Although i am now REALLY panicking as read reviews on various sites and am thinking of changing this (any recommendations would be welcome) now thinking of Fairfield Inn .
Hi there. If you are talking about the Wyndham on International Drive - I have been there twice. I went to Florida in 2004 with my partner, and when we decided to go back in 2007 we stayed at the Wyndham again as we enjoyed it there so much the first time. I also read a whole load of bad reports on Trip Advisor but in my humble opinion you have nothing to worry about.
OK, the rooms may be a little "tired looking" but the grounds are beautiful and its like a little oasis on International Drive! When you are lying by their pool its hard to believe you are bang slap in the middle of a major tourist area. The nachos served by the pool bar are delicious and they have a great deli-type place to grab a quick breakfast on your way out to the parks. The staff are very helpful, and the hotel is perfectly situated for all the parks, especially if, like us, you are not hiring a car.
The hotel is also within walking distance of some fabulous restaurants - check out Bahama Breeze and Cafe Tu Tu Tango.
A tip for you - go onto Wyndham's website and sign up to be a "Wyndham by Request" member. When you arrive at the hotel you get some treats in your room! We have a bottle of wine, some crackers and cheese and a nice welcome note.
Finally - have a great time!0 -
Managed to find an itinerary for 2007 when 13 of us went, staying in two villas in Terre verde. If anyone wants a copy just pm me and i will email you with it.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0

I got mine direct from Disney at the end of Novemeber, so I don't know if they have changed it since then, and the tickets have arrived, the (I assume) proper credit card passes.
I posted a while back about the address I got them from. I got them when the dollar was $1.50/£, and I am glad I did now!0
