dont forget your 14 day disney ticket has to be used 14 days (consecutive days) from the first days use, so you cant just go 14 days when you want to in the 3 weeks your there (a 21 day isnt much more than the 14)
what about a 14 day disney and a 7 day park play ticket which is 7 days to all the other parks?
http://www.park-tickets.com/other-parks/orlando-5-park-7-day-play.aspx
ps dont forget your disney ticket will cover bothe disney water parks, blizzard beach and typhoon lagoon,
which are fanatstic water parks (unlike wet n wild) which by all accounts is really an outdated 70's park, seaworld aqautica i havent been to yet, but probably wont, as i only get the disney ticket which is more than enough water fun!, then i just get a ticket to where i want to go when im out there ie day ticket to seaworld0 -

Ni problems at all, you will get lots of helpful tips on here.
First the hotel. Is it the Wydym on I Drive? If so I think this used to be a marriott and I stayed there and it was lovely. The Fairfield inn is a nice hotel as per the review snd you get a free breakie but it (for a Marriott) is quite basic but there is absolutley nothign wriong with it.
Which hotel has the best ammenties for you and your family? best pool, best on site food etc. I think the wydham had apizza hut etc.
If you are reading trip advisor i would take that with a pinch of salt to be honest. There are peopel there that will complain about anything. Hav eyou bought a guide book? From your holiday plan I would suggest the Brits Guide to Orlando 2009 - will cost about a tenner but will help you greatly and also give you extra something to read before you go!!!
3 weeks is a great timeframe to go in. You do not have to rush everything and you will have lots of time to enjoy things. Your 12 year old may not want 2 days in MK. Whislt its my favorite park I know some 12 year old jsut want to ride the thrirll rides.
A 14 day ultimate ticket does give you 14 days access so you can split your days and just pop back to the magic kingdom for the evening shows etc. You can park hope and take it easy. I will of course mean that you have to do the Disney parks in those 2 weeks mind you.
I am not a fan of seaworld and so I would not say two days there. Have you thought about discovery cove maybe? Whilst I know its not cheap its a once in a life time experince.
There is lots to do in Orlando - you will ahve a great time, but do not worry about the hotel. Just read about them on their actual websites www.marriott.com for the fairfield and see what they offer you.
Cheers
Craig
Hi Craig thanks for all the useful info, can i just ask when you stayed at the Wyndham, recently?0 -
Seaworld usually gives you a second day with a one day ticket. To be used within 7 days. We love the two main shows in Seaworld and think they are worth the admission alone, although the two white knuckle rides are great.
Choice betwen Aquatica and the 2 Disney water parks, no brainer. Both the Disney parks are far better, although Aquatica is very colourful. The main ride through the Dolphins is quite poor, you cannot see them as you go too quick and the water is in your eyes.
Another thing is safety, we have seeen the Disney lifeguards in action and they were brilliant.
And sorry [imho] Wet and Wild not worth a light.
We also now like to go down the I27 to villas in Davenport. We find it far more American, good bars and eaterys. And the extra miles you cover you can cover at the 65 mph. Not stop start at the blasted traffic lights and crazy drivers along the 192! To us its quicker and easier to do the extra milage.
However wherever you go you should have a brilliant time, if you dont its your own fault because there is loads to do and see. The Yanks are very hospitable and helpful.
Enjoy and it will be the memory of a lifetime.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
I've just been on the phone to Virgin (who sell the voucher for 14 day disney ultimate tickets)
They're cheaper than disney, but it concerns me that I have to take the voucher to the gate at disney.
If I buy my ticket at a disney shop, will I just be able to walk in? Can I buy an e-ticket (which I do for disneyland paris)
I really do hate queing!Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0 -
14 day ticket - for a 14 day holiday?? Gee where do you guys get your energy? I live here (Orlando'ish) and I would not go to any one park for the whole holiday - especially with kids - you'll need another week off work when you get back to wind down.C. (Ex-Pat Brit)

remember also - you arrive Saturday (probably) in the afternoon so there's that day gone - so you start your 14 day ticket on Sunday - then you are leaving on the last Saturday - so that'ss 2 days out of your 14. Then as you have already paid and you are tired you decide to miss a day or 2, and the you want to go to Universal/Islands of Adventure/SeaWorld/Busch Gardenc/Cypress Gardens..... Well you get the message, lets say you use 3 more days seeing the other tourist stuff (not counting REAL Florida (Dead River Cruise/Manatees at a State Park/Beaches etc) Now that's 5 days and say 2 for shopping well there you are you'll actually use your 14 day pass on 7 days only.
Not saying that you will do it - but think about what you will actually be doing. It may be cheaper to just buy on a daily basis or buy a 7 day - look into it don't jump in.C. (Ex-Pat Brit)

nope its a 14 day ticket for my 14 day holiday for me!,
i go every day some where on my disney ticket, weather its a relaxing day at a water park, or a stroll round epcot, or a mad day at hollywood studios, im up every morning for rope drop, pop home in afternoon for a bit of rnr than back till parks close, every day! its a long way from the uk to lie by a pool for 14 days so every minute counts you need to do as much as you can! i can rest on the plane home!:rotfl:0 -

I so agree with you, but then we go for a month at a time. Villas cheaper that way [that's my excuse]
We buy the non expiration tickets, which means our first stop is Downtown Disney to get the tickets checked. We have tickets dating back to the late 80's and we just tend to grab a couple of tickets when we go in the morning.
I would not change the way we do Florida now but wish the internet had been around when we first went, People who come on here are so right to ask all sorts of questions, time is the most expensive commodity in Florida and you really do not want to miss anything.
Do yourself an itinerary long before you go and this will give you some idea how much there is to do. I will look on the other pc and see if i still have one of ours If i can find one i will let you know and if anyone wants the guideline i will pm it to them. But let me hunt for one first.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
Hi Craig thanks for all the useful info, can i just ask when you stayed at the Wyndham, recently?
Hi Karen
No probs at all. I stayed there years ago when it was a Marriott. If its the same one I am thinking off it was a low sprawling building on a pretty good location on i drive.
