  • Apparently we have a 3 hours in New York on our way out. Anyone know if there is any way we can see anything in NY whilst we are there. It is JFK.

I know we won't have much time,(about 60 - 90 minutes?) between immigration and boarding for our next flight, but you never know what might be just around the corner.

Will go and ask in the NY thread too.

Have just one quick question - what is Disney Extra Magic Hours all about?

Extra magic hours is extra magic hours in the disney parks but only if you stay at a disney hotel. could be before opening time or after hours opening. well worth it as not big queues then!

How about taking in Illuminations by boat-we did this some years ago-hired the boat to ourselves -was 8-10 of us. Disney even supplied a birthday cake. No finding a spot near the rails-we were right there in the middle.
Can be booked through Disney dine reservations-leave from the Boardwalk or the BeachClub

Mrs Blink has suggested that a quick dip in the Hudson is now in vogue when flying to or from NY :T

The NY thread people say that 3 hours isn't enough time to visit anywhere 0 guess it is a bit like Heathrow compared with London

We go to florida on 30 April 09 for 3 weeks, while we are there its my husbands 30th birthday.

I want to do something special like a surprise experience.

I just stuck on what to do, we have been 6 times and we love it there.

Any ideas would be helpful and as cheap as possible.

    Thanks in advance.
your husband can get into disney world free on his birthday, as part of disneys 'what will you celebrate' campaign. you do need to register before hand, i can find the link if you need it, if your going on a prepaid duration ticket they give him a gift card loaded up with the admission cost for him to spend in the parks!!

Depends if you have bought tickets as well as the room - what ticket have you got?

You may find that when there are Disney magic hours at night the parks are more croweded than the morning ones. So if you can get out of bed and are in a Disney hotel the Extra magic morning hours are the ones to go for in my opinion
