Hi all!
Thinking of going in March/April after reading fares available for around £200, after searching BA etc prices way above that. Am i missing something or too late! Tried Tampa as well.
There are 4 Adults and 1 Child in our party. We will be booking villa and car seerately.
Any help and advice would be gratefully appreciated, ta0 -
www.disneyworld.co.uk are offering 14 days for the price of 10 and a 14 day Ultimate ticket for the price of &. I've just priced up June and got tickets and accomodation at Pop for £1300 - so £2,400 for the flights, transfers, accomodation and tickets for 14 nights. It is an absolute bargain. I really want to go. Boo hoo.
Also the US www.disneyworld.com Site is giving 7 nights for the price of 4 and you can get a free $200 gift card to spend in Disney!!
Also to add (still playing with prices), on the 7 day break you can add the Disney Dining Plan for $600 for 2 Ad 2 Ch and that is £60 a day on one table meal, one quick service meal and one snack. Not a bad buy as the table service meals are anything from $25 to $35 a head in the hotels depending on where you are staying/eating. JUst the UK Site and it is £19.99 per adult and £5.99 per child for that package.0 -

I do like the Disney dining plan. I think its a fantastic way of trying some of the many top places to eat in the World from Epcot to the Poly etc.
However remember that some places can use TWO table credits so take that into account.Self confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

Hi PJB
You have to add taxs and "surcharges" onto the fares and a lot of them are one way fares.
For adults Id would say the cheapest you would get would be 340 each maybe 309 during a sale and the child will be50 quid cheaper

Hi Jadsima
We're off to a villa in Sunset Lakes and we puposely chose it there as it is v close to animal kingdom and a good location, we stayed near there last time we went. Also for some reason we decided we wanted a villa with a lakeview and we found the perfect one at sunset lakes happy to Pm the details to you (english owner not used them before but go on Feb 3rd so can tell you more then!!)
Emerals Islands is a similar location too so I would be happy to stay there also.
I'm not an expert like Craig and I don't know legacy park but I'm sure he'll be on soon to give his fab advice.
Good luck xxx
Hi there - I'm here LOL
Emerald is my fav really just because I know people who own and manage there. Sunset Lakes is also near and a really nice choice. There are lots of developments called sun somethign so it gets confusing.
I prefer the location of the emerald and sunsets ones as you are at the good end of the 192 (i.e. near the 27) and not the other end. Whilst there is nothing wrong with the other end its similar to I drive and has lots of neon and buffett food places and for me FGlorida has more to offer than that,. But it cators for all.
Legacy Park is south on the 27 and south of the 192. Its not my favoriate are but there is still things to do ther and you are nearer to mannys chop house which is a bonus! https://www.mannyschophouse.com. Id say you are a good 25 mins from the TTC at Disney from here. Which is not the end of the world I know.
Cheers

Hi Craig,
Could you please tell me if these resorts in Kissimee are genuinely close to Disney - Sunset Lakes, Emerald Islands, Legacy Park, Seasons resort.
I took your advice and found flights to Tampa for £1300 for 2 adults and 2 children on BA as opposed to £1800 for Orlando but I have also been looking at packages as we would rather pay a deposit now and then put money aside monthly to pay the balance off 10 weeks before whereas we need need to stump up for the tickets upfront and quite possibly the villa too.
If there is any one on this forum who has a 6 bedroom villa to rent in the Kissimee area please let me know.
Cheers.
Hi there.
An idea on teh flights.... If you try Premier Travel http://www.premiertravelservices.co.uk they can often get the same prices as us on the web BUT sometimes can do the deposit now pay later option.

I would hate to be misleading to anyone and I am glad you understand that my villa is actually on one of the closest developments to WDW and is not miles away in Davenport. You just can't lump all villa owners into one pot!
As Disney is actually 5 different parks, I don't know where else you should measure up to other than the main gate? Should you measure to the Magic Kingdom?disney_cjd wrote: »Jeez, I was not calling anyone a liar but most (and that is not all) owners) state Disney property as their marker. You state Disney’s’ main gate and I know Lindfields and yes you are about that but even the Main Gate is not the car park or entrance to the park is it?
You are doing what loads of people do and use the edge of Disney property and I think that’s misleading to anyone who has not been there before, that’s my view and I am quite entitled to it without being told I am calling people liars.
For example once you are at the main gate are you in the car park? Are you at the TTC or ready to hit the rides? No, exactly.
I can find you loads of Villas in Kissimmee, Davenport, Clermont and communities like Orange tree, Weston Hills, Florida Pines, Sunrise lakes etc etc all say 10 mins from Disney and they are not.
I know where my house is, I know where most of the developments are and I know how far they take to lots of places. I appreciate you and other STR owners are marketing you property but people would rather have realistic times that all I was saying.
All the best for 20090 -

There are many villa estates really close to Disney:-
Windsor Hills
Lindfields
Sunset Lakes
Indian Ridge
Emerald Island
to name a few.
I found a fantastic map with the actual location of each of the communities here...

Afraid I only have a four bed, but there are lots of friendly villa owners at www.thedibb.co.uk that would be able to help you with a 6 bed close to Disney.
Have a lovely holiday!0
