Apparently the cheaper virgin disney tickets are due to go up any minute now according to the Dibb. They were saying they were going up today but I have just booked 5 adults and 1 child ultimate tickets and also discovery cove tickets for the 6 of us and they are the cheapest I could find.0

You may well be right - I had a feeling that they only start doing the Xmas parade in "normal" MKhours when all the MVMCPs have finished. I haven't been at Xmas for a few years so I may well be wrong.
(The ABC taping being the exception to the rule, as that's been taped early December for ages).
Amazing prices for next October there cjd0 -
Hi Karen,
I've never been in Disney for Christmas, only at the beginning of the month, last time was 2007. Have always seen the Christmas parade while over, but cannot for the life of me remember whether it was at the end of our holiday or beginning. I do remember the taping being a day near when we went, just don't remember in what direction, and one year we were there for the taping which was fun. Still, I'm pretty sure the poster of the question should be lucky, they just may need to contact Disney to find out the actual dates.

Just booked my Discovery Cove and Universal 2 park bonus tickets through Premier Travel (premiertravelservices.co.uk). They're cheaper than Virgin (unless you get the Virgin discount). DC Ultimate = £189 Universal 2 park Bonus = £65/£60. Great service as well! - recommended.0 -
Hello there.
We are flying out on 22nd December and staying till after the new year.
I personally have never flown before, but my DH has. So I am a bit apprehensive being such a long flight.
Anyway, we are taking our daughter (5) any tips or advice?
We have been keeping an eye on the weather, alot of our friends have said its really warm and t shirt and shorts weather, however upon research I think we need jeans and sweaters. Hard to know what to take!
We are not hiring a car. Is this wise?
We are staying in the Marriott nr Seaworld. I dont drive, and we thought there would be plenty of transport to get us about and the hotel provide transport to a few locations.
Also - we have a ultimate ticket pass we bought through the TA. Its unlimited entry to all attractions (inc Disney, Seaworld Epcot etc wtc) We hope to visit most but if we cant whats the top ones?
We also are waiting to change up our money, unfortunately we didn't have it till this week, so would you wait or grab at the 1.44 that it currently stands.
ThanksNice to save.0 -

I used to be a really nervous flyer, but have to fly to get to Florida. There's nothing to worry about and you'll probably love it.

The major airlines have a good selection of films and playthings for children. Also, if she's a fussy eater, book a child's meal. Even though she's a bit older than pushchair age, you may want to consider taking one, as there is a lot of walking for little short legs...

A bit of everything. Have been in December and January, its been as cold as freezing and as hot as 30 degrees c. You can't go wrong by packing a lightweight fleece each, something to keep you dry, as well as some t shirts, you may even get the shorts out if you are lucky. The most important thing to take is comfortable footwear.

Depends on how much you mind taking the bus services. Its certainly easier with a car, though you are quite well situated there to get around. Why not split the difference and hire one for a couple of days just to go further afield.

I don't know this ticket as I'm not aware of one that covers Disney and Seaworld, but not an expert on ticketing.
We also are waiting to change up our money, unfortunately we didn't have it till this week, so would you wait or grab at the 1.44 that it currently stands.
If you can still get 1.44 I'd get it as it has gone down since and you will almost certainly get less than that tomorrow. It's a tough call this as if we knew, we'd all be rich currency traders!
Thanks
