  • hi guys im about to buy 2 14 day ultimates from virgin and i also get the frequent flyers discount, but im going for six weeks to florida and will be travelling around the state and would like to go to disney in the first week then later towards the end of my holiday, now i know my tickets will only be valid for the 14 days,is there a way i can upgrade them to no expiration,i know you used to be able to go on disney website and choose this but its not there anymore and also how much will it cost me?
  • Vicks74, is that price just for flights or full package?
    I am a Travel Agent

My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are L4337. MSE doesn't check my status as a Travel Agent, so you need to take my word for it. ATOL numbers can be checked with the Civil Aviation Authority. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Travel Agent Code of Conduct.

    Hi

I am afraid that the ultimate tickets are not upgradable at all. You would be better of buying a 7 or 10 day hopper pass from Disney itself in the US.

    Sorry

Hi Disney_cjd do you know whether the premium tickets are upgradable cos we were considering only using 3 days and saving the other 4 for another time as the hubby refuses point blank to go to magic kingdom again ( i'm going to sulk, wine, cry, strop, beg, you name it, we'll be going:cool:) and we bought the flexi plus to go to all the other parks so we actually haven't got enough days to do use up the extra days.
    regards ktrix

oh p.s guys virgin prices shot up some time during the day yesterday (26th) as i was looking in the day time and came home from work and was looking in the evening and every holiday and flight was more expensive.
I am now debt free! Whoop whoop! :money::beer:

It was for the full package - I know very naive of me!!!!

I have contact them and they have admitted it was a computer glitch, however they said even if I had of booked it that they would have cancelled the holiday anyway  as per their terms and conditions (very nice of them!)

They did offer me a reduction of the book price & an upgrade of the free car, but it will still be an extra £400 to what the original quote was.

Will just have to be more savvy next time and not take things at face value!!!! :wall:

Thanks for your help guys, but it looks like Florida will be put on hold (for another year at least!!!!!)

    Vicks x

    Hi Kezza

Have a word with your hubby and use all your powers of persuasion :):) he has to go back, that place is magical. I love it.

Anyway to answer your question. Yes any ticket other than the Ultimate ticket can be upgraded to a No Expiration ticket. When you arrive you can go to any guest services even the ones in DownTown Disney and they will add it on for you. I think its about 50 bucks a ticket. What it does it ensure that no matter how long it takes you you can never expire.

Also, if you bought a 7 day base or magic your way ticket then you can always add a few days to that up to 10 if need be.

Hope that helps. The https://www.disneyworld.com not .co.uk site has some good info on tickets also.

    Cheers
