is there a guide for gay people, i'm gay whats is called? not sure why its different from any other guide though? unless tinker bell has written it for us!
Its called Queens in the Kingdom. It isn't published annually so you may not get all the most up to date tips, though it does get updated periodically. We were given a copy of it by friends of ours who are gay and work at Disneyworld and thought it was one of the funniest things that they have ever read.
In terms of things that it tells you that other guides wouldn't necessarily, there used to be an unofficial gay night once a week at Pleasure Island, centred around Mannequins nightclub, which wouldn't necessarily be in the other guide books, though obviously this has now closed down with the rest of the complex. In addition, Gay Days are held every year at Disneyworld and planning for these wouldn't necessarily be a big part of the other guide books (plus there are a lot of visitors to WDW who sadly get very tetchy about these things and 'the impact on their children' so wouldn't want them in their guidebooks, generally the same people who object to Disney giving equal rights to gay employees).
You can read Amazon reviews of the book here http://www.amazon.com/review/product/1598800612/ref=cm_cr_dp_all_helpful?_encoding=UTF8&coliid=&showViewpoints=1&colid=&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending

atro1 - I know exactly what you mean. My fingers have been itching since I read the first edition in 2003, and I know where the switch is.. Sometimes I have to bypass Canada because the temptation is just too great. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? yep thought the same thing, typical gay, flag waving , effiminate, queens, who are just 'out 'to prove a point. ill stick with the 'straight' guides more information about what you want to read, rather than how to mince round the world. yes by the way im a gayman, but we arent all the same!0 -

I just rang Attraction Tickets Direct to see if they can match the following:
Disney tickets - 14 day ultimate 2009: £206 x 2 (direct)
Universal Flexticket Plus - £155 x 2 from Virgin
£722
A big difference from the £816 they want. Could/would they match it? Would they !!!!!!y! Makes their 'Price Match Guarantee' look a bit daft, if you ask me.
I got 14 day Ultimates yesterday for £183 from Virgin but be quick the price is going up on December 2nd to over £200, also you do not have to have booked your trip with them.

Hi,
Where did you get the £186 price from?
Cheers

Please I really need your help!!!
I have finally decided to get on with booking to Florida for two weeks in January. I was quoted £1224.80 on Virgin Online. (My DD is 6, but will be 7 on the trip).
When I went to book it today, it looks like the Virgin Website has cocked up, and although I have entered all the details correct, they are treating my DD as an infant, so I can't book her with the correct age!!!!!
Tried another way, and obviously it is £500 more!!! - My other half will no way pay an extra £500 as this was going to be a special one off splurge. - Can I ask Virgin to keep to the quote or is it just my look that we won't now be able to go???? Any advice on taking them on will be appreciated!

Hi Vicks,
Have you tried BA or any other airline? I booked with BA last week for a trip in January and the price had come down substantially over the past month. May be worth a shot. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Without reading the booking its probably third party insurance included, which can suffice but you will probably have to give the car rental firm security!
See what the fully incl. insurance is with Thompsons and then price up http://www.usrentacar.co.uk/. It will probably be cheaper for car and insurance and you will get a better choice of car!Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0
