I went into thompsons yesterday and the lady there told me that they do a ONE ticket that covers all of the parks in orlando (disney, universal etc). However there systems went down while in the shop so never got to get a price for it. She did however show me a leaflet about it and it did mention all of the parks but it no price on it.

I am going back tomorrow so hopefully will have a price for it.
there really isnt a ticket that covers all the parks, i have been many times to florida, if there was a ticket i would have bought them. there really isnt no matter what the travel agent tells you! they are probably selling a package of tickets, but not one for all. that would be like having a tesco sainsbury gift voucher it just aint gonna happen.

    Hi all,

23 days till im in Disney now and im very excited!

Just wondered if anyone knew the price of buying a single day in Aquatica ticket whilst im in Florida either direct or in a store?

    Thank you

I don't think your question has been answered yet.

Have you had a look at the Aquatica website?
    http://aquaticabyseaworld.com/Site/Tickets/Visitors.aspx

Looks like a ticket is $41.95 for adults, $35.95 for children (ages 3-9). I didn't go all the way through the purchase process but I expect tax will be on top of that. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong ;)

    Have a wonderful trip :j

Virgin Atlantic boosts Summer 2009 capacity from Manchester:
    - 10 times a week from Manchester to Orlando
There will also be extra seats available between Manchester and Orlando with an additional Sunday departure between 26 April and 8 November 2009, using a Boeing 747-400 aircraft. With this extra Sunday service, Virgin Atlantic will fly 10 times a week between the two cities.

We are flying out on 22nd December and staying till after the new year.

I personally have never flown before, but my DH has. So I am a bit apprehensive being such a long flight.

Anyway, we are taking our daughter (5) any tips or advice?

We have been keeping an eye on the weather, alot of our friends have said its really warm and t shirt and shorts weather, however upon research I think we need jeans and sweaters. Hard to know what to take!

We are not hiring a car. Is this wise?

We are staying in the Marriott nr Seaworld. I dont drive, and we thought there would be plenty of transport to get us about and the hotel provide transport to a few locations.

Also - we have a ultimate ticket pass we bought through the TA. Its unlimited entry to all attractions (inc Disney, Seaworld Epcot etc wtc) We hope to visit most but if we cant whats the top ones?

We also are waiting to change up our money, unfortunately we didn't have it till this week, so would you wait or grab at the 1.44 that it currently stands.

    Thanks :)

We have stayed at the marriott seaworld for the last two years. We can not drive either but the hotel supplies transport to universal, seaworld, aquatica and wet and wild. it is a five minute walk to seaworld where you can catch the number 50 lynx bus to disney. The trolley in just outside the entrance of the hotel (Green line). Hotel is the best we stayed in, kids loved the free-internet, swimming pool and the staff are really friendly.

Just got back, tickets were $41.95 per day(+ tax) BUT it was also $12 to park the car, a stagering $16 for 1 LARGE locker that would be a small at our local swimming pool in the UK and towels were also extra, nor sure how much as we took our own. Food was not that badly priced but it was served like a motorway servise station ie yo got it then queued and queued to pay whilst it went cold.
As for the park, the rapids were cool, the slides were average but the wave pool was very poor compared to Disney, no big waves to knock you off your feet. more a large swell.
We would not go back to be honest but at typhoon lagoon was shut for work we gave it a try. It's not bad but not as good as Disney IMHO.

Oh dear. I have heard that quite a few times already and I think it's a shame as it keeps Disney on their toes to have good competition.

The problem from my perspective, is that with the type of tickets I tend to buy (those targetted at Brits) include entry to the WDW waterparks for "free" whereas I would have to pay extra to go to Aquatica.

We wanted to go in April but ended up spending an extra day at TL as we love it there and I was loathe to spend extra cash for Aquatica when I could go to a great waterpark for "free" at Disney.

I am surprised they chose to charge for parking (Aquatica) as currently Disney don't at the waterparks - currently, anyway ;)

ive heard a few reports about aqautica, and none of them very good. the park isnt as good as disneys water parks. the tube ride tho the dolphins, isnt as good as it looks, you cant actaully see anything as you go through as the water is spraying up in your face and its over very quick, the rest is just an ordinary water park

the fort wilderness palce to eat is great, i cant remember the name, the do a great value all you can eat buffet lunch, we only found this on out last day, and we really surprised how good it was , and as its so near to the magic kingdom, we will be going there alot next time we go.
from the magic kingdom go bt monorail to the comtempary hotel, then catch aboat to fort wilderness it makes a great break from the madness of the parks, also the hoop dee doo review is in fort wilderness as is mickeys back yard bbq, all serving great out door american type food. fort wilderness is pretty near to everything, fort wilderness lodge, and the comtemapary are just over the other side of the lake , as is the magic kingdom.
