Jackieblack is right, if you want tickets that you can extend to non-expiry you'll need to get the Premier ones. The price is more expensive to start with, but Disney tickets rocket in price so if you're planning on going back (and if you make sure you have enough days left on them to make it worth while!) then I'd definately suggest it
Have a lovely holidayAiming for that elusive 'debt free' by Christmas 2012

Its only the UK 5/7 day Premium tickets with unused days that can be "upgraded" when in Orlando at a Disney park. Alternatively buy US tickets which won't expire.
Premium tickets will expire 14 days from first use unless the upgrade option is purchased to extend un-used days/visits so they are valid for life. Please note that the exact price depends upon gate prices, but is in the region of $70 - $100 incl. tax. This element must be purchased locally.

Hi,
I wonder if any of you knowledgeable people can help? I've bought an adult and a child 14day disney ticket for 2009. It looks like we're going to have to cancel our holiday so when I called Disney they said I would lose £50 per ticket  . At the moment I only have an email confirmation of the tickets (bought direct with Disney) as opposed to actual tickets. My question is, does anyone know if it's possible and how I could re-sell these on? Do disney send out "real" tickets if I were to ask them? Do they come with a name on them? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

10 weeks today I will be in florida - yipee
We went for the first time two years ago and have been bitten by the bug- its like home from home!
We have always got our tickets from Maple Leaf- they have a website and you can order and have them posted to the UK or collect over there (they're on the 192- I think)- I have done both and have had no problems, we have done this mainly because I didn't want 14 days in theme parks (too much shopping to be done) and you can choose however many days you want.0 -
does anyone know if there is a ticket that covers both disney and universal?0
