Hi I have a question
I was going to hire a sat nav with my hire car but was too expensive. Looked on the Wallmart site and I can get a Tom Tom for about $140. I am thinking of buying one but would it just be a matter of changing the memory card to a UK map when I return home or is it more complicated.
They are the equivilent in dollars to pounds over there so seem a bargain especially as i got nearly 2 dollars to the pound when I exchanged in more happier financial times

You would need to buy the UK maps from Tom Tom and put them on a card and swap it over BUT in order to do this on the new Tom Toms they have to register it to the specific unit so dont buy one of ebay ect. You may also have to buy the UK voice or you will get odd messages such as when coming up to roundabouts it will say "travel around the circular" which is what mine says if I leave the american voice on.Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0 -

I am going on my 4th trip to florida shortly, have found highly recommended through another website a place that we are definately going to visit; big cat rescue in tampa.

Its not a typical florida theme park its more of a big cat conservation, privately run not too commercialised or expensive, if you like big cats it should be an amazing experience, I cant wait:j0 -
She also thinks it never rains in the MK.
You might need to think up a Disney style story about magic water then that occasionally falls from the sky. Apparently it has beautyfying properties that means if a little girl gets wet from it, they will eventually grow up to be as pretty as Disney Princesses'!0 -

My Tom-Tom worked over there perfectly (I think it's a 910??). Could you not borrow one off of a friend to save yourself $140. Mine sits in the cupboard at home 75% of it's life!0 -
As you may have noticed from the name, I'm a fanatical formula 1 fan. I'm going to be in Florida for the last race of the season (Brazil), which means that it should be on at a sensible time in America. Normally I Sky + and watch when I get back, but as this is the last one of the season, and the season will be decided there, I'd like to watch it live. Anyone know where F1 is screened in say a pub in Florida? I definitely can't get it in my room. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Your only chance is a sports bar but you will probably only get the picture without sound unless you are very lucky. But the way Massa is messing around it will probably be decided next week  . I have never seen 2 guys ( Massa / Hamilton) tying so hard not to win :rotfl:Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0 -
Hi all,
Am going on 30th December and still need to book Disney Tickets. I need the 2008 tickets and the cheapest I have found is £169 but I have a friend going out to florida in a few weeks and wondered if it was cheaper for her to pick them up for me?
Also thinking about Aquaticia this year as Typhoon is closed. Can anyone tell me what its like and also the cheapest price for a 1 day ticket.
Thanks all!
i tried attraction tickets direct and they wouldnt beat the disney price!0 -

Yes you have - last year! How Raikkonen won that I'll never know, though being a mad Ferrari fan I'm glad he did!;)Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
