just incase anyone is going,i stayed in the international plaza resort and spa for just over 2 weeks, found it great, place was spotless, just been refurbed, all new stuff in the rooms, pool areas were clean reception was impressive, maid service every day,new towels, room cleaned, beds made. only thing was the prices at the pool side bars for food, found it much more expensive than anywhere else.
i would totally recommend this hotel for a stay in orlando,it on i drive, not in the busy area but it is next door to sea world and across the road from aquatica, and bus stops right outside,we found it to be perfect.

  • Flying out on the 1st, am lucky to have been 4 times before. We know which bits we really like and which bits we're not so fussed about so that frees up a lot of time for us. Any ideas on different hings that we might try this time? No snakes please! If they are free suggestions then all the better

Try Cypress gardens, look and see if there is a concert on, on one of the saturdays your there. Usually 2-1.

Have a drink in Narcoosies at the Grand Floridian Resort, and watch the magic kingdoms fireworks from a different angle. Quite an eyeopener. Park in the Contempary Resort walk through the hotel to the monorail, ask for the front cab [ ride all of its own] get of at the Grand Floridean and walk through the hotel to the water front. Going back on the monorail quite a sight looking at the thousands flooding out of MK.

Have a wander around Disneys Boardwalk.

Try the car parades at Old Town. Fridays and Saturdays. Enjoy.

    Hi,

Just read Disney CJD's comment re: booking HSM 3 - does this mean that the movie will be showing in Orlando next week? I thought it would have been shown already over there. We are going to Florida for the first time on Thursday and it would be a bonus for the children to see the movie whilst we are on holiday. :j Can someone recommend a good cinema - we are staying in LBV.

    Hi all,

Am going on 30th December and still need to book Disney Tickets. I need the 2008 tickets and the cheapest I have found is £169 but I have a friend going out to florida in a few weeks and wondered if it was cheaper for her to pick them up for me?

Also thinking about Aquaticia this year as Typhoon is closed. Can anyone tell me what its like and also the cheapest price for a 1 day ticket.

    Thanks all!

Do not think you will get them cheaper out there try Ticketmania.com but I Think ATD. takes a lot of beating. With the dollar so low at the moment trawl the net because some agents MIGHT still have some from when the dollar was good for us.
Aquatica is OK. I prefer the Disney Water Parks and would not give twopence for Wet and Wild but that's a personal opinion!
We brought a combo ticket from Ticketmania for both Seaworld and Aquatica.
