I'm going to be in Florida for the last race of the season (Brazil), which means that it should be on at a sensible time in America. Normally I Sky + and watch when I get back, but as this is the last one of the season, and the season will be decided there, I'd like to watch it live. Anyone know where F1 is screened in say a pub in Florida? I definitely can't get it in my room.
Probably somewhere like Fridays Front Row 8126 International Dr
Orlando, FL 32819, United States
+1 407-363-1414
or ESPN club at Disney Boardwalk might be another option but they tend to be more into american football and baseball than formula 1, but you never know.0 -
Thanks Finishrich, I'll give Fridays Front Row a call. I know that they don't show it at ESPN as its not carried by ESPN. Plus, as its on a Sunday, they'll probably want to show American Football instead, but that's a great alternative. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? On one of our visits, there was a rangers game on that our lot wanted to see. it wasn't a special one just a league game, and there was a local pub on the 192 that showed it, just had a board outside with the game on it, my lot were thrilled! (It was the highway 27 end of 192)
Can't help with them name or anything sorry, but maybe if you keep and eye on the local pubs for adverts someone may have it showing..0 -

For all you sports fans Beef O Brady's - and there are several in the area have lots of screens that show all the sport going - most owners will tune in to whatever the diners want so get yourself near a screen and ask. They show a real mixture of stuff - and you can eat and drink at the same time.
Aquatica - the jury is out - I loved the idea of being in the tubes flashing past the animals but apparently a lot of people are disappointed that they see very little.(Too fast and water in eyes) Not done it myself but according to fellow owners on our forum most were not impressed. Wet N Wild is still in many ways the best. It just depends if you are going for the water slides or the animals.0 -
Tend to agree with Jean! Aquatica is very nice, you do not see the little dolphins because of the speed and water in eyes, but its new and lots of beds dotted about.
I am a fan of Disney water parks. dislike Wet & Wild, uncomfortable, busy but some good slides.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
We've just been to Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Discovery Cove and Aquatica. BB and DC would be joint first, TL second and Aquatica last!!! It was .... okay. Worth a half day visit, but if you're only going to one then I'd recommend BB - better rides, better seating, better facilities overall (and it's included in the price of your Ultimate ticket if you're getting one).
I'd second the bit about seeing the F1 race - there are numerous pubs on I-Drive with placards outside advertising all sorts of sports. DH went to a pub (Lucky Leprachaun) to watch his team ... and it wasn't Rangers!!!!! Have you checked with your hotel? Ours had about 50 channels incl. about 5 sports ones.0 -
Thanks ceebeeby, I'm staying at Disney and I've had the same problem before. They definitely don't show it on any of the channels there. Great idea about I-Drive though. Go to where the Brits are going to want to watch it, and the Brazilians hang out there too, so a double whammy!
Thanks to everyone else who has chipped in too! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
