For those of you like me who like a nice burger, here is what we do.
I love a big mac and its the only real place int eh UK we go. But I avoid Maccie D's in the USA a) because we are int eh USA and dont want tot do the same as home and b) there is soooo many better places.
All of you would have seen different places around but here is my view.
For a straight swap to McDonalds, use Wendy's. The burgers are fresh and very tasty and they do the best shake called a Frosty. Same price as McDonalds too.
For something better than that try Steak n Shake. Really cool old fashioned place and the steakburgers are to die for as are the shakes, they even do two flavours side by side in teh same glass!
The best through and only a little dearer than Steak n Shake is Five Guys Burgers. I real gem of a place, the new one is in Winter Garden Village. You get free moneky nuts and awesome burgers.
I tend to avoid the Plant Hollywood, TGI, Outback burgers just because they are too big for me. All of these are usually half pounders and I cant take em.
If you are at the Mall of M then try also Johnny Rockets. They are good too.
The websites for these places are:
