Yes we were thinking the same so we'll probably just take the polystyrene ones and wing it!! They are considered safe here. Suppose if they don't let you out of the hire co, you can hire their seat for a day and bring it back!!!

    Guys

I dont want to be Mr Picky pick pick but it does not say that. I says

Every operator of a motor vehicle as defined herein, while transporting a child in a motor vehicle operated on the roadways, streets, or highways of this state, shall, if the child is 5 years of age or younger, provide for protection of the child by properly using a crash-tested, federally approved child restraint device. For children aged through 3 years, such restraint device must be a separate carrier or a vehicle manufacturer's integrated child seat. For children aged 4 through 5 years, a separate carrier, an integrated child seat, or a seat belt may be used.

The seperate device is for 3 years and younger. for 4 and 5 years old then a seat belt OR car seat etc can be used.

At the end of the day you all know what is best for your kids. Airline carry child seats for nothing in the hold. Car hire companies charge an arm and a leg as they pray on you and many mini vans have built int fiv epoint harnesses as well.

If you want to take the poly seat then on reading this there is no reason why any child under 4 or 5 can not use it. In fact as the law states they do not need one at all! Seems odd to me as even my 6 year old who is a tall lass would have the seat belt cutting into her neck if she was not on a boaster.

Hope that makes it a little clearer for you all

    Cheers

looks like this site (recommended a couple of pages back for car hire) are happy with people bringing their own seats over. sounds like a plan.

    Pete

again sorry but all depends..... depends on if you Mrs is like mine and drawn to bloody Victoria Secrets and Abercrombie!

Generally I would work it out daily... So how many in your party?

5 bucks each for breakie, same for lumch and say 10 for dinner/ so 20 a day for food and drink, probably over generous but a good start.

generally stuff in gap etc is dollar for pounds, they just change the price tag £ for a $ so that might help also.

    Hi Pete

buy the lot there mate. Honestly you wont go wrong. Walmart is great for the cheap stuff but for a little better quality try Target and Super Target. https://www.target.com

Also for kids you cant beat Old Navy. its part of GAP, great clothes and great prices. Blokes t shirtts and cool ones for five bucks! https://www.oldnavy.com

hit the outlet mall at lake Buena Vista, its the Factory Stores. Awesome.

SD cards, well I got an 8 gig one for 23 dollars! If you know where you are staying you could even use amazon.com otherwise Walmart, Circuit City or Best Buy are great.

    Cheers
