thanks again matey, are us sizes the same as uk clothes wise?

    yep

only difference is shoes. generally the yanks are a size bigger on shoes but normally they will list both UK and US sizes on shoes. For everything else its the same

    cheers

    Hi there

I remember this place, its south of i4 on the 27 isn't it, between Davenport and Haines City just past the new mall?

    1) Manny's chop house. Nothing special to look at from the outside or in but the food is second to none and GREAT value for money. It shocked me when iw as there last the amount of people celebrating anniversays there.

How many in your party, age range? fac type of foodd, budget all come into play
    Cheers
    Craig

I'd already stumbled across Manny's chop house online, I think there is one in Haines City.

I'm just having a look through some of the others you mentioned, do you think once we have decided we should book before we leave or just do it when we get there ?

Have you been to Islands of adventure ? Would you say this would be suitable for my 2 girls they are 7 & 11 ?

Thank you so much for your help

    Guys

I dont want to be Mr Picky pick pick but it does not say that. I says

Every operator of a motor vehicle as defined herein, while transporting a child in a motor vehicle operated on the roadways, streets, or highways of this state, shall, if the child is 5 years of age or younger, provide for protection of the child by properly using a crash-tested, federally approved child restraint device. For children aged through 3 years, such restraint device must be a separate carrier or a vehicle manufacturer's integrated child seat. For children aged 4 through 5 years, a separate carrier, an integrated child seat, or a seat belt may be used.

The seperate device is for 3 years and younger. for 4 and 5 years old then a seat belt OR car seat etc can be used.

At the end of the day you all know what is best for your kids. Airline carry child seats for nothing in the hold. Car hire companies charge an arm and a leg as they pray on you and many mini vans have built int fiv epoint harnesses as well.

If you want to take the poly seat then on reading this there is no reason why any child under 4 or 5 can not use it. In fact as the law states they do not need one at all! Seems odd to me as even my 6 year old who is a tall lass would have the seat belt cutting into her neck if she was not on a boaster.

Hope that makes it a little clearer for you all

    Cheers
    Craig

Clear as mud. It's a guddle of contradictions but I think I've got it.
Will pass to my daughter and see if she is any less confused!

    Thanks for all that Craig.

    A pleasure (io'll do anything for a kiss :)

IOA is a great park. not surprisingly I am a Disney fan but i still like US and IOA. I think it will absolutely fine for your girls and they will love it. They will be able to go on all the rides (the 7 year old may not get on hulk as she may not be tall enough) but most others will be fine.

Mannys is great place and yep thats where it is.

If you are going Disney of the gold clun then yes try and book it now. For Mannys of one of the other ones then probably not

    Cheers

    Dont think thats right.

Womens clothes.......size zero I think is a UK size 4, so a US size 6 would be a UK 10.

Kids clothes also have some arcane numbering system that looks superficially like age, but isnt.

forgot about birds clothing - sorry. yes thats odd. What a wombat. UI was being a typical bloke and thinking only of blokes clothes and kids.

So a UK 12 is a US 8. Its a little confusing. The kids stuff though is done via age. I have not seen it done differently than that.

    Take a nose at

    Hi Pete

Unless you have a Post Office or Nationwide credit card I would avoid using it in the US as you will get hit with a handling charge of about 2.75 %

I think travellers chequs are safe and widely accepted. even in placed like Wendys. I have heard good things about Travelex cash passport but never used it myself. I am sure people here have.

make sure you have some one dollar bills mind. You will need those for tips and tolls etc

Mmmm - in kids sizes, theres a 4T and a 4, a 6X and a 6 (as well as 5 and 7), and Im sure a boys size 18 isnt for an 18 year old......would an 18 year old wear boys clothers? Maybe Im wrong though.
