We only have 2 children but we have always found it easier to take their car seats with us and it just gets put in the hold and has always been really easy!

We're back to Florida in November and luckily neither of mine need car seats anymore so that's one less thing to worry about!

am I correct in thinking that I dont need one for my 6 year old?

and do you need the back rest part or just the booster seat part and will my youngest still require a full size 5 point harness seat?

The 6 yo doesn't need one (unless you think he/she will be uncomfortable without), the 4 yo will be fine on a booster seat with no back and yes the 2 yo will need a seat with a 5 point harness.

    hey guys,

Were going to Florida Dec 15th, and have a few questions hopefully you knowledgeable bunch will be able to anwser....

If i buy my daughters a ninetendo DS out there would they still work when we get home ?

as mine are only 6 & 11 is it worth going to Islands of Adventure or is this park more for adults ?

We are going to DC so have tickets for Bush Gardens Sea world & Aquatica, so really only need Magic Kingdom, MgM Studios & Universal studios...would we be best to just pay on the gate for these?

And lastly does anyone have any tips for christmas day ?
We are just doing our itinerary and havn't a clue what to do for Xmas. Someone told us not to do a park as it will be mega busy ? Think we will just end up staying in the villa for the day !
We are thinking of going to magic kingdom xmas eve, Good idea or not ??
    Thanx in advance xx
  • anyone recommend the current best place to get tickets ?

    Hi there

Do a search for "DS LITE" and you will get the post on this. Bascially yes it will work fine but you will need to buy a UK charger when you get back. Iposted a link a while ago for a good one, the ones I bought :)

Christmas is a good time to go. Christmas day is not a huge holiday in teh USA so everything will be open. Thanksgiving (thuird thurs of november) is much bigger as is new years eve.

book a nice resturant for Christmas day. ANd try not to get to fed up with the over PC crownd saying "Happy Holidays" at you, just reply HAppy Christmas it soon shuts them up.

Off out but I will reply more to the otehr questions later

    Cheers

Before you give in to the hire company what sort of car have yo uhired? If you have mini van most of them have built in car seats with five point harnesses. As you get into the middle row, pull the small tab under the head rest and hey presto - they are very cook actually.

Remember also YOU DO not have to return the car to where you hire it. So if you want to get the seats for a day then return to your local car return place. Whoever your car is with, go to their web site and check their locations.

Also you can hire these from elsewhere for a lot cheaper than the rental people charge

finally if you villa is half decent the owener normally provides boaster seats etc so check that also

    Cheers

want to buy some disney tickets. are there any cash back sites, where i could get these through?
If you are going in 2009, the official Disney website is the cheapest I have found:
    http://wdtc.disneyinternational.com/

The 14 day Ultimate Tickets are the same price as the 7 day, so it's £169 for adults and £149 for children
