  • I think we are definately going. So, now need to plan what we are going to do while we are there. We are only going for a week Thur-Thur (wish it was 2 weeks but dh can only get 1 week off). So will have 6 days there. I was thinking 1 day Seaworld and 1 Bush Gardens (dh is in the army and so we get free entry), probably 1 day mid holiday shopping. That leaves only 3 days left. Has anyone got any suggestions where to go with a 4 year old little girl? How many days do we allocated for Magic Kingdom?
    Thanks
  • Does anyone think Discovery Cove is worth the money for 4 of us ?

    Hi there.

There wont really be much at Busch gardens for your DD :) (i am learning) but as you get in for free you should go as its an awesome park with lots of great thrill rides and worth the 1.5 hr drive from Central Florida.

As for Magic Kingdom. I would say as many days as you can. It really is the best park and certainly the best one for small kids. Although if you get a park hopper (i,e, can go to more than one Disney park in a day) then she would love the Beauty and the Beast show at Hollywood Studios and possibly Crush and Sorin (depends on her height for that one) at Epoct. But to be fair the reading time with Belle at MK is just as good.

Also, and if you can afford to splash out, try and have a lunch at Cinderellas castle at the Magic Kingdom. She will get a picture with Cinders and a little wishes badge and you get great food and meet all the Princesses and its located right there in teh Castle. You have to book it up in advance as its really busy but well worth in IMHO. Check out my mecca www.allears.net for more info on it.

You may also want some swim fun with her.

Finally I would recommend a day at Cypress Gardens. She is the ideal age for this park and will be able to go nearly all the rides. The key to rides is height and my four year old son is 42 inches and can go on most things there with an adult. Its a wonderful park, much much quieter than Disney, cheaper to and has so much for the kids to do. Mine walk around like their own the place and the staff just follow you around opening rides as you want them. The last time we were there there was 21 cars in the car park! Check out the website for more information as I know for September they are only open at weekends but even then its not busy at all. All the Brits want Disney and the Yanks are all at school.

    No problem

    Call WDW Dining directly.

You have to use a phone with letters on the numbers.... its 001 407 WDW DINE - if youa re worried about the cost of calling the US you could dial via RateBuster or Cherrycall USA so dial 0844 6050 777 first then the number for the USA all foer a penny a min.

I will check Google.... hang on

Discovery Cove is well worth the money. My son and myself went in September 2007 and I have to say, it was probably the best day of the holiday.

    Hi,

Is £300 a good price for a return flight only to Orlando on a Charter, out of season, i.e. 25th Sept - 20th Oct 08?
