  • Mercury Travel are £167 for the 14 day Ultimate which is about the cheapest at the moment for 2008 tickets.

Room booked through Alph Rooms should include taxes, have you checked going through Quidco for cash back?

All just bear in mind with all your ultimate tickets or any tickets for that matter that if you drive to the Disney parks is $12 a day parking! So going 7 days adds up. Also remember that if you have paid for parking in one park you are entitled to park with the same ticket at any of the other parks on that day!

    Cheers

  • Hi Florida experts.

I'm planning our first family holiday to Florida in 2010 I've been a few times as a kid but this time I will be taking our four year old. Can anyone help me with a few questions?

    1) Is there any time (US holidays etc.) that I should avoid in May 2010?

    2) When will I be able to book 2010 flights? Does Virgin/BA have a date for flight sales?

    3) I want a 4/5 bed villa in Orlando somewhere near I drive is there an area/community someone can recommend? Any agents etc. recommended? (I want to book ABTA/ATOL etc. not just owner direct).

Thanks very much in advance to everyone.

For all info about Disney and Florida, I would visit www.thedibb.co.uk - it was my bible when I went this year and the forums are excellent.

It is always best to buy the 14 day Ultimate pass if you plan on visiting the Disney parks a lot over a 2 week trip...great for nipping back for a rest and going to different parks in one day. Always cheapest here though:

despite their price promise they refused to match or even beat the the official price being offered at Disney for their ultimate tickets for 2009 , so much for their price promise

    Hey all,

I was just wondering if anyone knew where to buy reasonably priced 10 day hopper passes as I know I wont use the full 14 days!

    Many thanks!

  • Hi, I am trying to get quotes for november 2009 but after a whole afternoon trawling the sites I `ve only managed to get one, they all come up with a message that says it is too far into the future to check prices.
We would like to go when it is in christmas mode anytime between Nov & dec 2009 and it is for 2 families myself, husband & 2 kids (4 & 6) & my sister & brother in law & 4 kids (8,6,4 & 1).
I rang virgin and was on the phone for ages they came back with what I thought were expensive quotes (nearly ten grand for wilderness lodge!!!!! OMG) the other more realistic quote (which I got from website) was for my family not in laws & was for £2497.10 for 2 weeks in sheraton vistana villages on I - Drive in 1 bed apt.
Has anybody else attempted a big family hol like this what did you do hotel, apartments or Villa, the only thing that puts me off a villa is that in the current financial climate we could book something then the other members of the group (there may be more coming) may drop out and we could be left with a massive expensive villa to cough up for at least with hotel it`s separate bookings
Can any body please help or offer advice as at the moment I`ve really only got one proper quote and it`s a bit difficult to do comparisons when you`ve got nothing to compare!

    Hi Nic,

Ive previously done 3 family holidays to florida and will be doing my 4th in December.

Your best bet is to get a villa. Theres 9 of us going in December and weve just booked a 7 bed villa for 2 weeks for £1100 to give you an idea and that's over new year. You can get quotes from villa owners now and some often give good discounts. Google villa rental florida and youll get loads of results.

You can get minivans that seat 8 or 12 so there will be plenty of room for you all.

    Hope this helps

a 10 day hopper is quite likely to cost more than the current disney offer of a 14 day pass for the price of 7.

i was going to buy a 6 day magic your way pass with water park option from undercover tourist which is one of the cheaper agents in the states. for 5 of us it would have cost about £765. ( no hopper option included)

disney are selling the 14 day ultimate ticket (including water parks and hopper option ) for £825 for the 5 of us - £169 per adult , £149 per child.

cheaper than anywhere else at the present time
