    Ali, yes it does.

Once you've registered you'll be emailed your account number and you can enter this into the 'amend booking' section of the Virgin Atlantic site.

You get your card after your 1st flight with them.

If you need anyone to 'recommend' you just give me a shout :) shameless ;)

Then you can recommend your other half....

Also as those of you have been will know, when you drive to the MK or Epcot you actually part in the Transportation and Ticket center (long story as to why that was built) and then you have to transfer to the parks via monorail etc. I love that but it takes time.

Sorry, you can park in Epcot's car park and walk in too. It's only the Magic Kingdom that you have to transfer from the Transportation and Ticket Center.

You are 100% right about the villas though :) We stayed in Tuscan Ridge a few years ago and thank goodness DH was happy to drive back - I fell asleep on the way back from the parks every night. If I'd been alone with the children I think I would've booked into a motel and had an overnight stop every night ;)

One thing I'm kicking myself about is pre-booking seats together. When we booked the holiday we played Thomas Cook off against Virgin and TC came off slightly cheaper, however, because we are flying Virgin we cannot pre-book seats together until 24 hours before! I wish I had known this at booking stage as it would have swayed me to book the whole package with Virgin

Hi for those who saw La Nouba did you book your tickets in advance or wait until the night??

i think I want to get them in advance as gonna buy them for my parents as a special present but if it works out a lot cheaper might buy when we're there.

Also if you booked in advance what website did you use??

    Thanks

we turned up on the night, mind you there was no more seats available apart from what they term limited viewing, so we got those, nearly half the price of normal tickets, and we was quite lucky as we was at the front of the part that they say is limited viewing, missed very little, saying that, i am quite glad we got those seats at that price, if we had paid the full price i would have been greatly dissapointed, don`t get me wrong it was a good show, but my mrs went on about cirque de soleil all the time before we went, saying how great it was and how spectacular it is, maybe it was this particular routine La Nouba( i take it they change the name and the performance every so often), but i did not find it very spectacular at all, the best bit for me was the chinese girls throwing up a bit of wood from a piece of string, as i said it was good, but not great or spectacular, and if i had paid over £$240 like we was expecting to, then i would have been very dissapointed, Dave
Take every day as it comes!!

Hmm that's strange. TC should give you your flight locator number and you then enter it onto the VA website. Have you asked them for this? I've never booked with them but assume you can do this - I did it with Expedia.

they are fickle about Epcot. You are correct they do have their own park but if you arrive or try to arrive alter at the day they will direct you to the TTC which is a pain in the arriss.

Also, tip, if you are going to MK later in the day then as you enter the MK entrance tell then you are going for dinner at the Polynesian hotel. You will then turn the first right and park in teh hotel car park and you can walk to the MK from there and you have just saved 12 bucks! You can not do this early in the morning though as they give you a time sticker for the windscreen but its fine if you go late afternoon.

email virgin with your TC booking reference and your full names and date of travel and you will be OK. They can do it for you if you have not got a record locator. The email is

Have booked some meals in Disney restaurants as from research we did found out we might not get into some of the posher ones. This is true!!! we called 2 months ago (so a good 4 months before our holiday) and still could not get a table at any time over our holiday for lunch or dinner at Albert and Victoria (Grand Floridian), Le Celleir Steakhouse (epcot), Bistro de Paris (epcot) or Cinderellas Table (Cinderellas Castle in MK). Oh well, another time maybe.

Hope some of this info proves helpful to others.
    :rotfl: Have Fun!!!:rotfl:

For the resturants like the V&A etc yes they do get fully booked and sometimes you need to 180 days in advance BUT do not fret too much there is a chance they get a cancellation. When you are in Orlando call 407 WDW DINE and give them the dates of your stay, they will then scan the reservations for you. Also, and I know this is sad, but if the weather is cruddy aka Fay and Hanna etc then a lot of people cancel and you can get their reservations just by calling again on the day.

As for the V&A its expensive but my god its worth it. If you do get in ask for the Chefs Table in the kitchen, breathtaking!

    Have fun!

  • You need to be careful with ebay for the reason that people can travel and use the tickets and use maybe 3 days or even 1 but it has still been used and the finger scan taken. That ticket is then only good for the person with the finger that was used to start with. So poor person turns up to disney and finds that yes there is days left but not for use by anyone else.

ALOT of people have been scammed on the UK and American Ebay sites this way.

Not wanting to scare people but it is much better to go through the proper channels when it comes to tickets. I am not sure the tickets even show you that the ticket has been activated or not, i remember them scanning it but not marking it when i was there in june.

Just beware is all i am saying.

Apart from the finger scanning of the tickets if the tickets bought are the UK Ultimate 14 days tickets if they have been used even once they will have expired 14 days from the first day of use so unless the seller gives a very good reason for not having used the tickets at all I would be very wary.
