If you go to the Prime Outlet be sure to sign in at Customer Services, they will give you a discount card, not valid in all shops but worth having. Got 20% off at the CK shop, jeans for $20, cheaper still if you bought 2 pairs. Probably do it at Premium too but got so excited by the low prices forgot to ask!
if you want football boots, United World Soccer, in the Festival Bay mall, just over the road from Prime had some real bargains, mainly Addidas, top of the range Predators for £27.0 -
We're off to Florida in a couple of weeks and following the tips on this board we've bought some tickets, the 4 park Universal/WetnWild/Sea World ones.
But what do we do with them, do you just roll up to the theme park entrance and show them the tickets?!?
Hope this isn't a silly question.....0 -

Are they the actual tickets, thickish paper about the size of a credit card with a barcode on the back? If so, yes you just turn up and show them to the turnstyle operator who will put them under a reader or in a slot and hey presto you are in the park. You are supposed to sign the tickets and have ID with you but we weren't asked to do either, despite carrying our passports with us, it was a bit hectic in August though, maybe they will be more thorough at quieter times.
If you have vouchers you will have to visit the guest services window to exchange them for proper tickets.0 -
I was wondering as to the availablity of those yellow checkered taxis (Mears) at places like Universal Studios Citywalk and Pleasure Island/Downtown Disney. Are there taxi ranks or do you always have to call and reserve. Going on holiday soon and fancy a night out at these places. We can get a lift there but need to taxi it back to Kissimee. Just wondering how easy it was to taxi it. Mears rates are very reasonable.
Anyone any experience?0 -
Buying Disney tickets - This side or wait till I get there? I want to save money but with kids don't want to waste day with time share or end up not getting into parks!
Any suggestions?0 -
Found site http://orlandoinfo.com/uk/ inside free magic card with money off vouchers and events diary. I'm first time Orlando traveller in July 08. Can't wait to see the 4th celebrations and the whole Florida/ Disney/ Kennedy Space etc experience. Any money saving tips greatfully received. I have car but NO attraction tickets yet (2 Adults +3 Kids, 10, 9 and 6).0

We used Mears to go to Disney and back in 2005 from International drive.
We found them ok , the drivers very pleasant and apart from one, seemed to know where they were going!0 -

Yep they're the thick credit card ones. On the cards it talks about a 14 day City Walk pass and thought it might be something different that I needed to get in exchange for the tickets, I assume they (the parks and City Walk) all use the same system and will know the tickets are valid...

OMG, this thread is SOOOOOOOOO long...
I've just spent over an hour scanning through it cos i'm sure the answer to mu question will be on here somewhere, but my boss has just got back in the office, so i ahve to stop looking.
So, sorry for being repetative, but here's my question....
How much spending money do we need for a 14 night holiday in Disney?
We are a family of 5..... kids aged 12, 8 and 17, and plan to stay in one of the Disney hotels. Park tickets will be bought before hand, so i just need a rough idea as to how much cash we will need for eating.... We plan to hire a car, so won't be tied to eating in Disney.
Any idea anyone? Or even any info on how much you spend when you went??
Ta v much!!0 -
