As you are going for 10/11 days. Have you thought about ignoting Disney? My friends one year did Disney and then next did the 'others'. It's just a thought as you didn't mention Disney- just MGM. At the time you are going you could book the D. Cove with Seaworld and BUsch- you've got 3 full days there. You could buy a 2 day ticket to Universal (I think) and get third day free- you can also buy one which includes Wet n Wild. 6 days already used. Then Kennedy. 3 days left then. Don't forget the shopping. If you have time you could buy the MGM from a proper supplier out there. (I wouldn't suggest buying a used ticket)
Food for thought! Enjoy whatever you do.Chrissie

Hello guys!
I need some serious help here pls.
We have never been to Florida before and have now booked a holiday for 1st-11th November (2 adults + 2 kids, 9 and 12). Booked house thanks to other moneysaver, got several car options.
Still to get and giving me nightmares is entry tickets to parks:
Both children and I want to visit Discovery Cove (unbelievably expensive) - husband not keen -
we also want to got to Kennedy space center:rolleyes:
Universal
Sea world
bush gardens

What about Disney Non-Expiring Tickets ??
Can these be purchased anywhere particularly cheap ?0 -
Non-expiry is an option on the Magic Your Way tickets described above by Zolablue25 - its the third option you can take on top of Hopper and Waterparks. Go to the Disney.com site to get a quote......maybe try US based travel/ticket sites to see if you can et it any cheaper.illegitimi non carborundum0

now, I imagine all this might be impossible as we will need a second holiday resting...
Can someone pls advise what is absolutely unmissable? Do I get daily tickets?
Please help...
Thank you
Depends really on the type of thing you like. If you are into roller coasters then Busch Gardens and Universal Islands of Adventure are THE places to go. If you don't like coasters then there really isn't any need to go over to Tampa for Busch Gdns. We really enjiyed Sea World but as Froggit has said to avoid it I guess itis very much an individuals choice. Again it depends what you are after. Sea World is excellent for shows but poor if you are after rides.0 -
MGM is part of Disney. Get a 7 day Disney ticket, 2 day Universal, forget Sea World and Busch Gardens. Kennedy is good eg you get to see the actual Apollo launch control, shuttle simulator, fullsize Saturn V Rocket. Do DC if you can afford it. Bad news is that both kids need adult tickets.
I have to say, politely of course, that it is your opinion as to what Popapapa should do. Anyway, I thought a 9 year old can buy a kids ticket. The sites say 3-9. (Was you just meaning Kennedy?) And yes, I did know MGM was Disney. In my humble opinion I loved Sea World, went twice in Orlando and once in San Diego. I love the shows and the animals- and again it personal choice (as per Zolablue25).
From being there a long time ago and reading lots of different sites it seems impossible to do everything (even on a 3 week hol) and that's why you see that people go back again and again.
There are lots of sites for tickets, American ones and UK ones. Some only offer E-tickets and I prefer to avoid these are you only have to exchange them when you get to Disney or wherever.
Good Luck all

Hello eveyone!
Greetings from a VERY sunny Florida! We've been here just over a week now and there hasn't been a cloud in the sky yet.
As usual the prices here are incredible, my daughter bought heeleys for $40 and I got a pair of crocs for $30.
We spent the day yesterday at Premium Outlets and managed to get my son 3 pairs of Nike trainers for less than $100, we really struggle to get shoes for him in the Uk as he is a size 14, he thought all his Christmas's had come together when he was given a choice of 9 pairs!
We are seriously considering buying a villa out here to use and rent out, does anyone have any exprience of homeowning in Florida?
Must go for a swim now, the pool look sooooooooo inviting!:D0 -
Traleegirl- Soooooooooooooo jealous! Enjoy your hols and post here what exciting things you've done other than theme parks or PM.
Has anyone done the Citrus Tower or Bok Tower Gardens? Any opinions out there or enlighten me further than the web? 3 Adults and a 9 year old.
ThanksChrissie
