Thanks for that but I have done loads of homework, I have been offerd a 4 bed villa for £500 for 2 weeks I can stay here http://www.goldenflorida.co.uk/properties/property.asp?ID=28 for £189 per week. Or even this hotel http://orlando.checkintoday.ws/hotel_info.php?CityName=Orlando/Kissimmee&indate=2007-10-15&outdate=2007-10-26&mode=D&SuburbName=&star3=on&star4=on&star5=on&SortBy=MinTotal&PageIndex=0&HotelID=35737&ViewCurrency=USD for $30 per night. Stuck for choice really.
Haven't read the whole of this thread but here's the villa I booked for next September ....

Owner was very helpful and I am paying under £400 for each week. It's a 5 bed 4 bath .. 3 double rooms and 2 twins. Own pool and spa and looks lovely.
Paid deposit by Paypal, have been in regular contact with the owner since and do not foresee any problems (fingers crossed!!).
Best of luck.

We also want to do Universal and Islands of Adventure, Buesh Gardens (not done before)and maybe Sea World (again not to disappointed if can't do Sea World)...
what do you think would be the best way for this?
Try looking at the Disney.com website (not the UK one). You can book direct withthem but you have to do it over the phone. When we went in january it was definitely the cheapest way to buy park tickets.0 -
Remember the tickets like these sold to the yanks dont have hopper, ie ability to go to more than one park in a day or waterparks. Theyre extras.illegitimi non carborundum0

Edit: A quick look at the US site shows a 7 day magic your way (i.e. Full flex) ticket works out at $37.71 per day for adults and $32.43 for under 10s. Not sure what your best UK quote is for this?
Edit2: The best thing about the Disney US site is you can have any number of days, not just the 7, 14 or 21 offered on the UK site.0 -
7 Day Magic your way is $314/$44.86 per day once you add the hopper and the waterfun options. Plus tax.
Makes it $334.43. About £167 at $2=£1. We paid £153....ish from memory this summer for a 14 day Ultimate ticket once the 10% Virgin Flying Club discount was taken off. Of course we didnt use 14 days, but we had the ability to go to Universal all day and pop into Disney for the parades or fireworks in the evening. Tip......after about 7 o clock in MGM the car parking was free as they didnt have ticket men there.
Your quote above excluded tax and excluded the waterparks/disneyquest etc. which are included on the UK Ultimate tickets.illegitimi non carborundum0 -
Hello,
New to this thread but hoping someone can help out!
I need cheap (2 adult + 1 infant) flights for Orlando in Jan 2008 for 8-9 days.(around 11 jan to 19 JAn)
The best I seem to get is £600 for all three tickets on ebookers but with new baby don't really have that much to spend! Flexible about flying from London/B'ham or M'chester...
Any better deals to be had that I'm missing out??
Have accomodation/ attraction tickets and car rental sorted (thanks to helpful relative in Orlando!)0
