    Hi disney-cjd,

We find Universal/IOA better with annual passes. You're over a lot and it really gets cheap if you renew every year. I have a preferred pass (currently $200 + tax) and my OH has a power pass ($140 + tax). The preferred pass gives you the free parking, special events, cheap food & merchandise etc, the power pass doesn't and has some black out dates. But as we always go together and avoid the black out dates we only need one expensive pass and would do that for however many people were in our party. They currently offer 6 months free on the more expensive preferred pass for FL residents, so that may also be worth looking at. They do a more expensive pass too, but IMHO its not worth it. Not sure what the kids rates are, but I can't see them not offering one.

Like you have a US address, but they wouldn't let me get a FL pass without a US utility bill.

Edit: PS, is it true that its hilly in Clermont? The only thing I don't like about Florida is how flat it is..

We came back and hit a hurricane the other year and had to put down at Shannon because someone was so ill. Don't let it put you off as the risk of an actual crash seems to be small

Well there is the customs limit of I think now 200 UK pounds. So you are not supposed to bring more than that. Now before everyone starts going on about tax evasion etc etc remember everything you bought in the US you paid their tax on so I am not sure that the customs will come after you if you bring home a few quid more.

Also if you have been to the US before then you can always say that you bought it on the other trip :)

I was going to go with Virgin from Manchester but have read that their standards are slipping and their fleet is looking a bit dated. Anyone flown with them recently from Manchester? I'm going to book with Thomas Cook. Have also been offered a good deal for Villas from Dial-a-flight - anyone else used them for Villas?

Anyone flown with Thomas Cook recently - was the 15kg baggage allowance adequate or did you feel you had to pay the extra to upgrade to 20kg?

Anyone used Dial-a-Flight to book Villas??
