how do you declare stuff? Or do tehy ask you when you take of f your luggage of the belt thing.

    Its your choice.

If you have bought something like a sit on mower for example then you obviously need to go via the RED channel after baggage claim. If you have just got a few extra pairs of Sketchers in your luggage etc then you go via the green channel. If then you are stopped by customs and the officer is a stickler for the rules they will tot up all that you have "imported" and ask you to show receipts etc etc and if they think you have taken the p*** then you may well have to pay VAT on the extra amounts.

The point is that yes you shudl only bring back the allowance you are allowed however the customs people live in teh real world and a few extra kids Nike tops etc really I am sure will not get you in trouble. Just do not fill your suitcases with iPhones or DS Lites to sell on eBay!! :)

    Hi there,

    I have
    :D

Yes it was worth it. You get a trip out of the harbour onto the open sea by Clearwater.

I don't want to spoil it by telling you what they do when they are out there but it was a wonderful surprise for us.

I think the SeaScreamer cost $20 (plus tip) and the boat (early May) was practically empty so we had a great view. The trip wasn't very long though...about 30-45 minutes start to finish.

What I can tell you, is that on the way out of the harbour the water is quite shallow in places. We saw a chap paddling in a kayak with his dog on board (in a lifejacket). If this sight wasn't strange enough, on the way back we saw the same chap and his dog sat on a sandback in the middle of the sea, fishing.:D

You can spend your time alone re digesting past regrets,
Or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself.
Makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

Anyone got any tips on accessories such as sun screen cream, mozzy repelant (is it needed) etc. We're going in 5 weeks (countdown starts now!!) and want to be prepared. Have heard it's cheaper to buy sun protection cream out there - any tips on good brands?

    Sure

so for suncream i have always liked Hawaiian tropic or Banana Boat. We buy ours from Wal-Mart or Target and they are about 8 dollars for a large bottle. Nowadays you can get some great sprays which we like rather than the old oils and creams.

If you have kids banana boat do a good kids areosole spray.

As for mossie stuff the best is a brand called "Off" but you will only need this if you are going of the beaten track like Green meadows petting farm. Places like Disney use Mossie deteriants all over.

I was going to go with Virgin from Manchester but have read that their standards are slipping and their fleet is looking a bit dated. Anyone flown with them recently from Manchester? I'm going to book with Thomas Cook. Have also been offered a good deal for Villas from Dial-a-flight - anyone else used them for Villas?

I fly with them every January from MAN -MCO and have done for the past few years.

Excellent every time. Wouldn't even consider flying anyone else on that route.

hi guys!i was wondering what sort of flight experiences people have had going to florida?we went in may & the flight going was fine but coming back there was a thunderstorm that lasted for hours, it was horrendous!!it has put me off going back but i really want to go again!so, is there a better time of year to fly?or is there something anyone can recommend i can take so i wont care whats happening!!i normally take calms but they were no use!thanks for any replies

Flown MAN - MCO loads of times and never had anything more than the odd bump.

Flew LAX to LHR a year or so back and it was horrendous. People were screaming and all sorts. Horrible experiance.

We're going to Orlando in August for 10 days and want to visit Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld and Aquatica.

So far, the best deal we can find is:

    7 day MYW Premium - £152 from themeparkticketsdirect.co.uk
Universal 2 park unlimited - £45 from the Universal website
SeaWorld and Aquatica - £43 from SeaWorld website

Before we go ahead and book, is this the best deal?

    Thanks. :j

I think you might run out of days! :) Is that 10 days there or travel too? Remember you wont get there until like about 4pm and you will have to be out your hotel/villa by lunch the day you leave.

I really also think you might want some rest days also.

As for prices they look fine.

    Cheers

Yep, we'll certainly run out of days, but won't go to Disney for 7 days - it just seems that's the cheapest ticket for what we want to do. :p

So there's no better prices? If not, I'll go ahead and order. :j
