Perhaps he could take the new expert back to the forum he allegedly left on good terms from and leave him there.0

If interviews happen, do staff just not want to work for you (on a under erforming team?)
You need a more structured argument than the general complaining you seem to be doing here.
Do you have actual facts, data and statistics instead of just your opinion nd their opinion?
A decent project manager has detailed requirements scoped.
Indeed. It would also be a bit odd for a company to expend resources in the hiring/interview process if they have little intention to actually hire for the job. Seems like an over elaborate way of bullying if op is to be believed.0 -
@casey
And perhaps you should go back to preparing tonights dinner, with your next celebrity guest in need of advice. Or if your not hungry for a celebrity guest tonight, then may be you should go back to prepping for the next case your due to preside over at the high court as an alleged high court judge!0 -

Your grasp of English seems pretty poor, there's spelling/grammar mistakes in almost every single post you make. Is that just down to a poor education and/or lack of intelligence? I find it hard to accept any advice you offer as credible when you cannot get the basics of the language correct.0 -
@labman very familiar name from one off the other forums I advised on for few years. were you a teacher?
Am dyslexic. Ignorance is no defense to discriminating against someone. Not that I'm offended.0 -

If you want to talk about their "poor education" then can we also talk about the root causes of that? Because I personally don't like the idea that certain people in this country end up having a poorer education than others. Though in fairness much of it will be due to environment (parents/socio-economic). You'd be lucky to guess that a poor education was the fault of the child who was going through the system though.... That's a pretty bold sentiment, and not something which people generally like to think.
Don't even get me started on "intelligence". My Psyhcology knowledge is only A-level standard and a few years out of date, but there was a general consensus that people had "multiple intelligences" and it wasn't merely defined by how good your English or Maths is (I suspect many people have died on that sentiment alone, WW2 probably being an example but then again I think Germany initially gassed the people with mental health problems so maybe I'm stretching that example a bit too far here). I think, if you allow me to invoke a stereotype, a fairly accurate (stereotypical) example would be an electrician or builder; they'll be able to do whatever in your house, but I suspect that if you were to push them on writing out a post on a forum they'd be in the same league as the user you posted (obviously not all, but a fair few!). Not because they are "unintelligent", but because they probably have a different sort of "intelligence" to you.
So can you drop that pretext please?
If you do not find the user credible then fine, great! But (and for the sake of users reading it) at least address the points they've made and refute them where required! Or just ignore the post.
Sorry to go off on one with you, but I'm not a fan of discrediting people purely because their English writing skills are a bit poor. It can set a dangerous precedent...0 -
