So basically, it's not about the money he's giving her at all, just the fact that he tells you that he can't afford to do things with you because he's skint. You know he's giving her some money and he's been saying that's why he can't afford things?

On a 60k wage he's just lying through his teeth. He's either got massive debt somewhere, or he just doesn't want to do things with you. If it walks like a duck.....
