Wow, slow down and calm down. You were already told by @KeithPToday at 12:41PM where to go to read about the template defence everyone manages to use. If you are using a phone to read this forum, stop.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi guys,
I have been reading up all that I could find once you had directed me and found what happens next etc. Followed all the steps, did the SAR and did the AOS then filed my defence using the template and email address from KeithP.... I have now had a letter from BW Legal saying a CCJ has now been filed against me.
I read in one of the threads;- 'Do not be surprised to receive an early copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire and the usual intimidating template letter saying they 'intend to proceed'. Nothing of interest there. Just file it.'
I remembered seeing an option to add your defence on MCOL when originally doing the AOS but there were no instructions to go through this way on KeithP's thread so just sent the email.
How long should I intend to wait for the questionnaire to come through? I'm worried I've missed something.0 -
From what you have written it looks like you did everything correctly.
Can you login to MCOL and look at your Claim History.
Please post the complete Claim History here - it's only three or four lines.
It would also be interesting to see that letter from BWL - with your personal information redacted of course.1 -
Did you file the defence too late? Did you get an email ackowledgement back when you sent it to the CCBC?
As @KeithP says, what does the MCOL claim history say?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all, so sorry I haven't responded sooner I have been really poorly in my pregnancy and this has taken a back seat but still looming over my head!
I have logged into MCOL and it says -A claim was issued against you on 12/05/2021
Your acknowledgment of service was submitted on 17/05/2021 at 20:48:09
Your acknowledgment of service was received on 18/05/2021 at 08:06:03
There doesn't seem to be anything about my defence in the history - I have checked and it's in my sent items on 12th around midnight but I did not receive an acknowledgement email back at all.
I sent it to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk does this mean they have not received it??
I will send a photo of the BW Legal letter below

Complain to the CCBC that it was sent but not logged , resend it tonight and phone them tomorrow to complain about it , meanwhile check for an auto receipt email after sending
Yes you should have received an acknowledgement but should have been checking regularly , I understand the situation you were in but never assume , always check2 -

Please see above which says a CCJ was issued in May? I'm not sure how that can be the case.
I have checked experian and nothing shows up on there.
I also received my SAR back from Napier Parking and noticed originally the very first letter was sent to an old address which is why I never received it. If that makes any difference at all?0 -
It doesn't say CCJ , it says claim , CCC , not CCJ1
-
Yep, it DOESN'T say a CCJ was issued against you but one will flipping soon if MCOL haven't updated to show the defence you emailed.
Simply go find that sent email right now, hit 'forward' so it takes the attached defence within it again, and put some lines into the body of the email asking the CCBC to please update MCOL because as they can see, you emailed your defence on xx/xx/21.
Do that right now, tonight.
Check that you put the CLAIM NUMBER correctly in the email subject line...did you put it correctly?
Then ring the CCBC tomorrow.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Oops! Must have panicked and read CCJ! Thank you!
I have forwarded the email exactly as you said and have had an email acknowledgment which jogs my memory so think I did originally get one. I have saved this acknowledgement now. I will call them tomorrow.
Sorry if this is a stupid question but I have just googled them and assume it stands for county court business centre and there is only one in Northampton? Number I have found for them is 0300 123 10561
