Windows in LR cleaned inside and out (although Poppet has already left her prints on the patio door) and switches cleaned. I also read the paper and did some sewing.
You've reminded me, I need to get the K*rcher on the nose-art on the back door and patio door glass.

However, today has been an enforced sofa day, as I've done my back in. Twisted round in bed to put my specs in their case last night, same as I always do, and something went KERRRUNCH followed half a second later my another, smaller kerrrunch. :( It's been playing me up for several days, so I'm just hoping that whatever happened last night was something pinging back into it's proper place, and that it'll be ok with a bit of rest and the occasional dose of Oramorph.

today I have done nothing... I paid for 3 main christmas presents.. pre-ordered months ago. I arranged delivery of a new-to-me dishwasher.. and I did 2 school runs and spent about 2 hours on the phone.. how do people find time to do actual jobs??

I had 2 apples on the run this morning for breakfast.. I managed lunch at 1:30 and ate my dinner off the oven trays as I put everyone elses out.. and I only just sat down after getting the girls to bed.. I am run ragged and achieving nothing at all.

Oh... did I mention I am no longer overweight?? I haven't had a green BMI since 1999!!!!! Here's to another stone going away and me being myself again!!

I've just been looking at my sales for this year.. I've had £1580 from ebay.. but, my paypal has had £3500 almost through it.. that paid for a wedding, a holiday and school uniforms.. now I need to ramp up the sales to pay for christmas.. I am almost done I guess.. I feel a bit bad as the bigger ones have no tiny stocking fillers but 2-3 big items.. but if I have money spare before christmas I will go buy up superdrug for smellies and make up and tat ..

    I still need something for..

    DS1 + DIL

Morning all. Work again for me today but I'll try to fit in some flying between shifts.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Well done on the weight loss Pigpen, fantastic news. And you sound so organised for Christmas but sorry to hear how much time you spend running in circles. I do understand and am having a similar time with the bank at the moment not helped by the fact it is OH account and it involves USA too so different time zones and he is travelling. Xmas here is relatively easy as I only buy things for my DDs 23 and 20 and a tiny token surprise for set of friends and their son 15 who come away skiing with us. But basically our main family present is the week away skiing for xmas. We suggested stopping aunts uncles nephews etc years ago when some of them were in a difficult situation and it suited everyone. Then had a family discussion where we all decided we would rather go away together than buy tat and spend ridiculous amounts on excess food. So it's a week self catering in the mountains with good simple food, wine and friends for us. DDs are getting electric toothbrushes as they have both been asking and I still do stockings on a very small scale for them (I would have to buy them new underwear, socks and toiletries anyway).

Hoping to at least have a good go at the kitchen paperwork tray (mountain) this morning but not sure what else will get done as may need to leave earlier for work as social demonstrations are planned on the road I work on, most irritating when I am only going to that place for an hour and a half so hate having to spend as long or longer getting there. But my favourite group of the week this evening so that'll be nice.

Time for coffee and a shower.

Sneaky work day lie in as I am on a course today.

But spent the last sleep period dreaming about Christmas Crafternoon when we have to make crafts with the kids to sell as xnas fair. Luckily I have a skill up my sleeve - gift boxes - just thinking of how to bling them up. Had some ideas I'll now need to try out in advance for effectiveness and ease.

    Creeps back in

Morning all  Sorry I've only been reading, not posting. Life has been crazy again for the past few weeks, reaching its climax of ridiculous-non-stop-one-thing-after-another-for-18-hours on Tuesday  Suffice it to say that I was shattered.

(((Hugs))) Roundtuit. It's good to be busy, but also give yourself time to rest and just "remember" quietly.
LW, I do hope your back pain is easing.
Sorry to hear about Mr Narc0's continuing problems with meds.

I'm pleased to say that DH is feeling much better now :) - although the downside of that is that he keeps taking himself off to the war games shop where he eats the cakes and biscuits that they provide for "members", so that his SW programme has gone by the board again

Pigpen, you have done brilliantly to get into the green BMI zone :T:T I am still within my current target but struggling to lose half a stone to get back to being more comfortable in my jeans.

Yesterday I managed to deal with an enormous frog and a number of oversized tadpoles:
    - put up our new BR curtains (only had them a fortnight!)
    - repaired the DR curtain that Rosie had caught her claws in
    - changed the lightbulb on the half landing, while DH held the step ladder steady for me
    - checked my energy bills and found that I am actually already on the cheapest tariff
    - wrote up our Christmas and birthday wishlists, which DS2 had requested

    Today I need to
    - make various phonecalls
    - post a book back to the college library for a full-time student, as I'm not planning on going back myself for another 3 weeks
    - call on two of the toddler mums who are going through rough times
    - buy some timber, bathroom sealant and fine surface filler so that I can do some more Toots jobs
    - make a small Gift Aid claim for the charity, which will then make it easier to concentrate on doing the big claim for church tomorrow.
    - continue clearing the spare bed and the tops of the COD and filing cabinet in my study, which means filing paperwork and sorting books as I go.

And somehow today or tomorrow I've got to go out for lunch with my friend who never goes anywhere unless I insist - hoping to combine that with a visit to a craft centre to get DDiL1's very belated birthday gift (saw a possibility weeks ago and didn't have the money to buy it then, but haven't been back since).

Hope everyone has the best possible day. (((Hugs)))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed xx

    So far this morning:
    Huge pile of ironing flattened.
    Airing cupboard sorted.
    Rubbish put out.
    Shower cleaned.
I'll see what else I can fit in the next half an hour before work. I may have peaked....

I hope the back has sorted itself out, LW.
Piggers, I am - as always- in total awe of your organisation and your weight loss.
Jazee - I meant to say that I love your new sign off.

    Have a good day everyone.
