Did a bit of a brainstorm at Vicar's request regarding provision of a cupboard for flower arranging gibble in the new Chapel which has reached the final architect-drawing-cupboards phase. Emailed it/printed off for other flower ladies (only 4 of us left now).
Had put old stair carpet on Freecycle yesterday just in case. No replies yet.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Good morning everyone
Thank you for today's list, Valli. I have great hopes for today - the washing machine is on, the iron is heating up and my bedroom isn't too bad as I did it last week. Maybe I will even get on to the windows.
List for today:
Bedroom up to level 3
Ironing
Make apple muffins
Carry on with quilt for DS Xmas present
Hope everyone has a good day!0 -
Morning
ooo..more hugs... thank you Valli and Narc0lepsy xx A lovely way to start the day
DS has gone back to work today and is sleeping over at GF, so won't be back 'til tomorrow evening. I'm meeting a friend to have tea at 'spoons this evening - but until then I'm free to fly
I'll follow MrsP's example and get the WM swishing - having started the day with a cuppa tea and meditational reading.
Then breakfast, get dressed and crack on - if anyone has any WUDUPA- vibes to spare please waft them over here in about 20 minutes. Thank you.
Have a good day,

oh my - I think I was just hit by a tsunami of flylady posivibes!!!!
I: loaded the WM and set it swishing; ate porridge; put a bowl of pots to soak; took a pile of clean laundry upstairs; konmaried underwear in pile; got washed and dressed; opened bedroom windows and curtains; stripped DS's bed; gathered up DS's floordrobe; denuded DS's room of empty cans/ drinks bottles (pop not beer); at lipstick on DS's carpet - mental note to have quiet word with GF; washed bowl of pots..... and breathe :T
WM has just stopped but I'm having 5 minutes 'cause my forehead is leaking!!!

Wow RT, that's a lot!
Thanks for the list Valli, I've been lurking but not posting and also not flying much.
So far today, I have washed up the breakfast dishes, swept the downstairs floors, put away washing from airers, walked the dogs and done a work shift.
Just about to do some paperwork and will then fly until next work shift later.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

It is definitely catching - seriously flying today! My bedroom is the best it has ever been, and I am completely exhausted! I have quite astonished myself and feel positively cheerful in spite of the rest of the stuff going on ... :j
I am going to have lunch and sit down with my quilt and enjoy the rest of my day off.
Hope the rest of you are making progress too. :T0 -

Oh if only, MrsP!
I have stripped and remade the bed, but even that is cheating, as I actually did it yesterday evening. Still, it went through the wm this morning, so partly a tick from today.
I spent an hour in the car this morning doing a 20 minute journey to take DD to school and to stop by the f&v market on the way back. Thanks to roadworks, all roads coming from the north were well and truly gridlocked. I did a small shop in Mr W by the market, as there was no way that I was venturing anywhere else. I got out of town ok, but the queues coming in were even worse. And I have to repeat it in an hour's time.
A couple of hours at the allotment has gained a ton of spinach, plus a green bin now full of weeds for the next collection. Dinner is from the freezer again but the tardis doesn't seem to be giving up any space. I just don't know how it does it.
Still the bathrooms haven't been cleaned though....:(
One piece of good news - DH changed our energy contract, and we should save £200 next year:money:0 -
Oh dear Fayolle - you poor thing. Sometimes you just have days like that. Sitting in traffic jams is so frustrating!
But you have done some allotmenting and saved money so that is good. :T
I hope your next journey is a bit better anyway.
And remember - tomorrow is another day! :beer:0 -
Windows in LR cleaned inside and out (although Poppet has already left her prints on the patio door) and switches cleaned. I also read the paper and did some sewing.Spend less now, work less later.0
