Loving the painted toenails! I'd add a pic of mine (Reflection Pool, which as the name suggests is a stunning iridescent green-blue) but fear I'd show myself up as my feet are currently filthy from a day in the garden, lol
Off to soak in a coolish bath in a while......
Better weather here today. Right now it's actually warm and sunny - although it was a bit drizzly earlier - and I'm sitting on the terrace watching a variety of tiny birds feasting on the feeder.....
It's been operation clear up as the windfall apples have taken over the terrace, not to mention all those autumnal leaves, so DH had the leaf blower out whilst I gathered baskets of tiny, often wasp-infested apples! I had a narrow escape after a wasp landed on my bare shoulder. Last year one got into my Croc and stung my toe.....ouch!
I've just finished potting up about 60 seedlings (Dame's Rocket), planting some Agastache I also grew from seed and DH is varnishing the decoupage cabinets. I'll try to remember to post a pic of those over the next couple of days
After a relaxing bath and a bite to eat, I think we'll collapse in a heap in the snug to watch Countryfile and maybe Antiques Roadshow, or possibly chill in the courtyard with a naughty glass of wine!

No gardening today, giving my shoulder a rest. Have been busy painting the little cupboard, two coats today. Tidied the drawers in my bedside chest of drawers. I really ought to do some paperwork but can't be bothered. It's not urgent.Speaking of leaves and windfalls.....it does feel quite autumnal today. Still warm but very dull and murky and gentle drizzle most of the day. I really don't mind, it's a relief from last weeks searing heat.Lovely pics Phoebe.....your garden is so pretty.8 -
There's just something so decadent, frivolous and fun about painted toenails. 😂🤣. Especially for old birds like me. When I can't do them myself anymore I will get them done in a salon.Heard a great one yesterday....my sister was asking about my garden. I was telling her that it's a slow job and that I need to be patient. She told me about her neighbours garden... beautiful and it has taken years jn the making. The lady who owns it is 91 and now relies on gardeners for its upkeep. Apparently she "supervises" with a glass of gin and a cigar. 😂🤣.I want to be her when I grow up (although maybe minus the cigar). 🤪Watched "The Book Club" last night, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, Mary Steenburgen, Diane Keaton.......The film starts when Fonda chooses "Fifty Shades of Grey" as their book of the month. This then prompts them all to reboot their love lives......Very funny, can thoroughly recommend.8

Thank you for all your good wishes
I would recommend "The Book Club" too, real feel good and laughing out loud... I loved Diane Keaton's style....
